A few days ticked by, and I began to find my footing. Aiden was going to be a working progress. He was very by the book and took guarding me very seriously. I knew Max would be recalled to the Palace, and I had not decided if we would settle here or return. Right now, with Luna Ivy still recovering and Alpha Gideon working with the Palace and council through the aftermath and paperwork of the ambush, both Ben and I were needed here.
