Chapter 110- The Mountain Siege

A few hours later, on the outskirts of the El-Tarter, a thousand royal soldiers marched toward the east. The general Bengy Dowson led the men, riding alongside him was none either than Mr Goodson.

As the men passed by a narrow path, they saw a few men farming near the river. The general raised his hand up and everyone stopped.

"Quickly, ask those men if they saw the bandits pass by here lately."

A soldier ran down quickly and soon returned.

"My lord, the farmers say thousands of men passed by here some eight hours ago. They recognised some of them as the mountain bandits."

Hearing this, both Bengy and Mr Goodson nodded, but the latter was skeptical. Just as Mr Dowson was about to signal for them to continue, Mr Goodson spoke.

"Wait, Mr Dowson, don't you think there's something strange going on here?" Mr Goodson said while staring at the farmers.
