Chapter 5- The Meet up

A group of men sat at the VIP area of the party deck, illuminated by flickering party-lights of various colours. Jake was layed back on the couche, deep in thought. His friends heavily involved in a conversation while he warned up to the event. He glanced at his Rolex watch and noticed it was almost nine pm.

"Gentlemen, this yacht got the most gorgeous women. None of you are leaving here without a lady tonight." Jake heard Donavan say. When he turned to look, all the boys stared at him before they laughed.

A waitress came over and brought them another round of wine and shampagne. She poured the wine on their glasses before she left.

"Not that again you guys," Jake said defending himself and picking up his glass of wine. "I was just knocked out, I don't even know why I didn't black out that night."

The boys chortled again, forcing him to continue.  "I'm serious, plus I didn't like any of those women, okay."

"Jake, how could you not like any of them? There were plenty of your type of ladies that night. Short skirts, a little thick and pretty. Look, I'm looking at one right now," said Tyler, sipping on shampagne.

"Yep, that one is pretty enough, playboy. Let's see what you got," added Mike.

When Jake looked, indeed she was a stunner, but just like all the ladies in the party tonight, they were gorgeous. Just not enough for Jake Larson.

Jake glanced at his university friends and shook his head.

"Gentlemen, how many times have I told you, when you're at a party like this, take your time to make your pick. You don't wanna make one and end up regretting later when you see the one that rocks your boat," Jake said.

"Rocks your boat," Louis quoted Jake while raising his eyebrows, and the group chortled.

"But on a serious note, Jake is a billionaire. So his taste for women has gotta be a tad higher than us normal folks," said Luke gulping down on some wine.

"Ow, Luke, are you gonna defend him now?" Said Mike making a mocking face.

"No, but he's right. Think about it. How would Jake, with all his fame and his money ever find the right woman for himself. Like, how will he know whether she really loves him or she's out for his moola?"

The VIP section got quiet for a while.

"Damn, that's deep," said Tyler, thinking. "He'll have to leave the country to find someone who will absolutely not know him."

"Something like online dating?" Asked Luios.

"No fool," said Luke, "how can you expect a Billionare to be doing online dating. Something like, arranged marriage. Yeah, that's it."

"Arranged marriage? That's so ancient times," Mike complained.

"It's not, how about this? If I were, no, if we all went out on a trip to a foreign country rumoured to have the most beautiful chicks. And we hold something like a contest or interview. Yeah, we interview like a thousand gorgeous ladies, right? At the end, we pick one."

Cheers of approval erupted at the VIP section, earning them a couple of inquisitive looks from the ladies.

"Oh! now y'all understand what I gotta deal with," said Jake grinning.

"Alright boys," said Luke standing up, "the dance floor is pilling up and I'm freaking tipsy. Let's get this party started!"

The boys cheered and went to the dance floor, only Jake remained seated smiling and waving them off.

"Jake, come on," Luke had stopped.

"I'll be right over," said Jake sipping his wine again.

The boys went ahead and started dancing while Jake watched nonchalantly. He glanced around at the ladies at the dance floor. Though they were rich, they were all the same, wearing branded mini-skirt, short dresses, bum-shorts, skinny jeans- they were all the same.

As Jake turned to look at the entrance, he saw a figure of a female wearing a weird multi-coloured dress. Jake tried to take a better look but she flickered through the crowd and he couldn't see her no more.

Grabbing another glass, he laid back on the couche. He could feel the alcohol had begun to make him dazzy.

Luke came over from the crowd, pulling a lady with him as they neared the VIP section.

"Hey Jake, I want you to meet my partner for the night." Luke said winking at Jake. "Her name is Tiffany Dowson. Tiffany, this is my best pal, Jake Larson."

"It's nice to meet you, Mr Larson," Tiffany said extending her hand to Jake.

"Nice to meet you too, Tiffany," said Jake, gently grabbing her hand and kissing it lightly.

"Bro listen, Tiffany's got her friend here, wanna come see her?" Jake asked.

"Umm…bro, I'll come around, just wanna hit the washroom for a minute, alright?" Jake excused himself and walked into the crowd and right out the deck.

'I really needed this fresh air,' he thought looking into the black sea which illuminated by something bright as Jake rested his arms on the stern. He wondered about the bright light and as Jake turned, he saw the beautiful full moon. He headed towards the bow of the boat and behold at the end of it, stood a woman.

'Isnt this, the women with a coloured evening dress?' Jake walked slowly approaching the bow of the yacht.

"What's a princess like you doing in a dump like this?"
