A few days passed...

Axel continued to stay at the hospital, accompanying Gwyneth who remained unconscious since the accident as the doctors declared her comatose. He couldn't trust his fiancée to her stepmother, nor could he trust her biological father who seemed to trust her stepmother more.

"Darling, wake up... Then we'll get married and I'll take you away from here. We won't stay in a place that can't provide justice for you, even your father is too weak and foolish to trust them more than me!" He whispered while holding Gwyneth's hand, but slowly felt her fingers move.

"Holy moly..." His eyes widened, seeing his fiancée's eyes slowly opening as if struggling.

"Darling... Oh my God..." He was panicked yet enthusiastic. "She's waking up... She's going to wake up!"
