It's been harder to get out of bed each day. The pain from the arrow in my neck seems to be getting worse.

Each day healers come in to treat it, but none of them give me the feeling I want. The feeling I got from Ayla when she healed me the first time.

“My son,” I heard my mother's voice, and I turned. “The healers are ready for you,” she said, and I sighed.

I tried getting up from my huge bed, but I just fell right back.

“I will help,” mother said, rushing towards me.

“No,” I stopped her. “I'm King Slade of Mercia Kingdom. I can do this,” I said with all my might, and stood up.

I looked at my mother, Queen Lyra. She has admiration in her eyes. “See, you don't need that peasant wolf. You are stronger on your own,” she said.

“Let's go,” I said, not responding to her words.

The healers were already waiting including Silvia. There were a lot of herbs, and concoctions. They gave the air a horrible smell.
