CHAPTER 37 - Hesitation & Transformation Preparation
Word about Amarah and Matt saving the wife and son of The Night Howlers Pack Beta, had spread like wildfire around the pack and its neighboring territories. Members from different allied packs had started flocking towards Clayton’s territory with extreme conditions, to seek their medical help.
“I-I don’t think I can face them,” Amarah said with hesitation on her face. She looked outside the window from Clayton’s office. She saw a huge crowd in front of the health center, clamoring for her and Matt. “They will back off the moment they see me.”
Clayton walked around his table and pulled her towards the couch and sat down with her. It was two weeks from the night she saved Elise and her baby together with Matt. Word got around the pack over what happened that night and it didn’t take long for the news to spread. For the first few days, only a few came, and Constance was able to tend to them as well as Matt.
