The Prophecy

People aren't complicated. They are uncomfortable with the unknown and change, which is why werewolves were hunted and killed off even before the witch trials. The Middle Ages was truly a dark time for supernatural beings. 

Because of this werewolves, and other supernatural creatures, needed to go into hiding from hunters and the human population. 

Werewolves felt so alone and disconnected with their kind that they turned to the Moon Goddess, Selene, for help. 

Selene, the daughter of Titans, came to their aid. The Moon is Selene, and she is the moon. They are one in the same. The symbol for the triple goddess, two cresent moons on the end of a full moon, is one of the only symbols of change that is loved. Change gets a negative repuation. Change can be scary. The unknown is scary. But Selene embraces change as she goes though each new phase of her being. Using the cover of complete darkness, under Selene's new moon, she came to her children in a dream.

They slept deeply, safe under the dark night sky. Only in their dreams could she seek them out. This is how she foretold them of her prophecy. 

You feel alone, but you are alone together.

I shall asign you mates. They will complete you although you are already whole.

These bonds will be what create change in the world. It will allow you to mingle with humans once again.

My children, you're feared for embodying the fear of the unknown and change.

But this is your strength, not your weakness.

There will come a day when you won't need to hide anymore. You will help create harmony, balance, and love in ways unseen in this world.

The destined mates are yet to be born but they are created because of you. You are part of the endless cycle of change. Allow yourselves to transition with trust and no fear because you are like the seasons: they are a necessary part of life.

Gather in packs. The strongest amongst you will be your Alpha. His mate, your Luna.

Next strongest male or female is the Beta, followed by the Gamma.

Trust in me, the Moon, your mother.

Call upon me when in need.

I'm always watching over you.

How long will it take for this prophecy come to pass?

Can two teenagers that come from completely different backgrounds bring the balance and harmony to the world as Selene has promised?

What if they don't like one another despite the mate bond and the prophecy? If they can't get along with each other, there certainly is no hope for the rest of them.
