Chapter 5

Haxielle

Tahimik akong kumain habang nag kwe-kwentuhan sila Kamie at Remi.

"Are you going to eat or talk?" I coldly asked to them. Remi looked at me with confusing eyes.

"N-"

"I said it's Grim."

"Hala teh! Meron ka?" Agad ko siyang binato ng tinapay nakailag ito at sinalo ang isa sa ito.

"Shut up! I'm just asking because you both haven't eat a single piece of the pasta I cooked." I said, annoyed because they're not eating the food I cooked.

"Hindi kase masarap." I instantly glared at her and throws the bread knife towards her.

"Joke lang, Uy si Axel concerned." She teased me.

"Langya, I'm concerned you don't like the food. Since you don't give that to me and I will trash it." Tumayo ako sa lamesa at kinuha ang plato nito sabay tapon sa basurahan.

She's too late to realize at naunahan ko ito.

"Haluh! Axel naman ang harsh mo. Wala na nga natira sa fry pan eh tinapon mo pa." She cried over the pasta on the bin.

"Your loss, Remilla. Now, I command you to wait until lunch before you eat." I said and drink the water beside me.

"But yung tummy ko namamayat." I stared at her kaya tumahimik ito.

I crouched in front of her.

"I think you know the word diet, Remi? And know you're on diet like you always do." Nauna akong lumabas at sumunod naman silang dalawa.

"Ah- Haxielle, tanong ko lang ba't tinatawag ka nilang Axel?" Kamie suddenly asked beside me.

"Because they want it."

Napa-ahh si Kamie. Nilabas niya ang iPad niya at may hinanap.

"The class for english will start exactly 15 mins and 35 secs. We will have the lesson for grammar. The student council is on the class. Are you okay with that?" She asked. Looking at her pose, she looks like a secretary.

"I'm not interested take Remi with you. I'm going to ditch." Tumalikod ako at pumunta sa direksyon papunta sa puno. I waved my hand to them.

Mabilis akong pumunta sa tambayan bago pa ako maabutan ng lalaking yon.

I comfortably sit in one of the branch. I slowly drifted to a nap.

"Detention.Now." Biglang uminit ang ulo ko ng marinig ko boses niya.

Pati ba naman sa panaginip?!

"I repeat. Detention, Now." Tila sumakit ang sintido ko ng marinig ang boses nito.

"Go away, Ilaw ng Tahanan para kang nanay. I don't want." Sagot ko sa kanya sa panaginip.

"You just repeated the term, Miss Merdigan. I repeat wake up from your dream and go to detention." My eyebrows furrowed.

I lazily open my eyes. Para akong tanga na nakatingin sa kanya mula sa puno.

"It seems you are awake, Miss Merdigan. Please wipe that drool off to your face and straight to the detention." He calmly said while looking at me from the tree.

Tumalon ako pababa ng puno at hinarap ang presidenteng ito. I sweetly smile and calm my whole body off pinipigilang bugbugin ito.

"I don't drool President and I'm going to repeat what I said. I don't want." My voice are calm. I crossed my arms.

"Have a thought fixing you hair?" Ash said sounding innocent. Napahawak naman ako sa buhok ko.

Langya.

I fixed my hair. He is just right in FRONT! of me looking peacefully like wala lang. Nang maayos ko ay tinignan ko ule ito at di maiwasang mapamewang.

"It seems so unfair that you are the only one allowed here." I said my hands starts to form into knuckle even my arms are crossed.

He crossed his hands too. Indicating na ayaw magpatalo sa akin. Ang sarap talaga barenahin ng mata makatitig sa akin kala walang kaharap. Easy easy lang? Ganon lang?

"It is my duty. Miss Merdigan." He proudly said.

"Duty my ass, why am I the only one whose getting captured here where are the others?!"

'Because I want to.'

Di ko narinig ang sinabi niya dahil sa bulong lang ito. Argh! Ang sarap mong saksakan ng mic sa leeg.

"Why?!"

He is about to show off again the headmaster's permit. I shooed my hands kaya binalik nito sa bulsa niya.

"Now, you know the reason please proceed to the detention." He commanded.

"No, I don't want to."

He sighed deeply. He massaged his temples at tumingin sa akin an ngayon ay payapang nakatingin sa kanya.

"Then why don't we have an AGREEMENT?" His voice got hinted that he's annoyed.

Napangiti ako at umayos.

"What agreement?" I asked calmly. Trying to be calm.

"That you are allowed to wander here and also use some private facilities here. In exchange..." Ash cut off what he's saying at lumapit sa akin.

He harshly pinned me in the wall na ikinagulat ko. Wtf?!

"What are you trying to do?" Mas lalong uminit ang ulo ko.

Nilapit na niya mukha niya sa akin.

"Be a part of student council."

Feeling ko nakahinga ako ng maluwag sa sinabi niya. I pushed him away from me. He gestured his hand to me.

"Haha. Is that what you only want? Of course, deal." I take his hand.

"Well, then that's an agreement." He said in the middle. Bago ito bumitaw ay nagsalita ako.

"Well, then I have to seal it off right?" I asked him.

I didn't let him answer and blow him a wonderful punch.

"You jerk! That's your payment for what you did earlier."

Hinawakan nito ang bagang at tumingin sa akin. Akala ko maiinis ito but he just chuckled and lose at my sight.

I just stand there for a minute.

Wait...

What the hell did I just do?
