What did I just do?!

Halos mahiwalay na yung buhok ko sa anit dahil sa kakagulo at sabunot nito kanina.

I just freakin' let my guard down, damn it!

Biglang bumukas ang pintuan at napansin ko ang aura ni Remi. I raised my head up to see her.

"Did you just make a stupid move, Axel?" She knows and alam kong pinapahiya ko sarili ko.

"Yes I did, at sobrang baba ng rason." I slammed myself to the bed in frustration. There's a moment of silence between us.

Remi laughed breaking the silence. Tagos sa atay ung tawa eh.

"HAHAHA! Pre! Di ko alam kung ano yon pero sobrang nakakatawa." Napahiga ito habang tumatawa.

I sat in the edge of bed glaring at her with dead eyes.

"You think it's funny?" Natahimik ito pero rinig ko parin ang paghagikhik niya.

"Magiging part ako ng Student Council. At alam mo ba ibig sabihin non?" Agad itong umiling ngunit tawa parin ito ng tawa.

"I already have no freedom in this school." I pouted. Kakainis naman kasing bunganga to pahamak palagi eh. Paano kung imbis na maglaro sa gabi puro paperworks na?

Napatingin kami sa pinto nung kinatok ni Kamie yon.

"Papasok pa ba kayo? Haxielle, anyare sa buhok mo?" Tanong ni Kamie. Napatingin naman ako sa buhok ko. Sumimangot lang ako at nag-ayos na.

"My girl!" Bungad ng unggoy sa akin.

"Carter, it's freakin' morning!" Suway ko dito.

"Too bad, my girl. Morning for a handsome should be beautiful like me." Hinampas ito ng walis sa ulo ni Remi. Jusmiyo nalang...

"Anong should be beautiful like you?! Mukha ngang sinagasaan ung mukha mo ng bulldozer eh." Asar ni Remi dito.

"Tignan mo nga kasing payat mo yung walis. Stick! Hahaha! Tas flat!" Balik na asar ni Carter.

"Alam niyo... parehas naman kayon-" They cut Kamie off.

"Shut up!" They shouted in unison.

Parang mga bata.

"Osha, tama na yan. Baka mamaya magkatuluyan kayong dalawa." Bigla silang huminto. Their faces turned into disgust into each other.

"Carter! My bro! Merong practice cheerleader ngayon sama ka?" Dumating ung lalaking may pulang buhok.

"Carter, who is he?" I asked Carter pero mukhang napansin ito ng lalaki kaya inunahan na niya si Carter.

"Hi Ladies! I believe we've seen each other yesterday. I'm going to take my opportunity to introduce myself. I am Elijah Serveno at your service." He winked.

"Tsk! 'di ikaw tinatanong." Bulong ko.

Serveno... a mafia the sixth strongest.

Sunod sumulpot ang vice president at yung babaeng secretary. I remember now, halos lahat sila anak ng mafia sa pagitan ng rank 10.

"I believe she's our new auditor. Miss Merdigan?" The guy with glasses asked. I believe he's the vice president. He speaks with authority. Bakit di nalang siya ung president and not that jerk?

"Yes, I am." I answered.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Hexton Lou Forest, just call me Hex." He give his hand out na agad kong tinanggap.

"And I am Vissy Lucian the secretary. I hope for your cooperation." Medyo masungit boses niya pero halata naman na mabait ito.

I studied them three. Elijah with red hair and piercing halatang bad boy ito at parehas ng impluwensya ni Carter. While Vissy is a little bit smaller than me. She has a side flip green hair and her eyebrows are arched. He doesn't wear his vest and his polo are loosen at the top buti di katulad ni Elijah na kahit may vest ay bukas na bukas ang taas hanggang dibdib.

I glanced at the girls beside us na naglalaway sa itsura nila.

"Since, we are going in the same class, Want join with us?" Magalang na yaya ni Hex. Tumango nalang ako at sinundan sila lahat.

"Carter, what's your position in the student council?" I asked. Umakbay ito sa akin at may binulong.

"Taga nakaw ng pera hihi- aray insan! Nagjojoke lang po." Kinurot ko tagiliran nito.

"Treasurer po." He said.

Nangmaramdan ng tao ang presensya namin ay agad ng tilian ang ibang babae at lalaki. Buti nalang unti lang ung nasa room mga 3 lang.Pero sa labas ang dami.

I sat beside the window at binuksan ito ng unti. Every one settled down ng dumating ang guro.

Tumayo si Hex na sinundan namin. Sabay-sabay silang bumati kay ma'am. Not me, not interested.

She started the boring lesson. I sleep in my desk while holding a pen.

"LUMINO! Stop kicking the door." Napadilat ako sa iritang sigaw ni mam. Inangat ko ang tingin at nakita si Ash na naglalakad palapit dito.

"President Asher, you are late! Detention!" Sigaw ni mam sa kanya. Ngunit wala itong narinig at umupo sa upuan sa likod ko.

Kailangan ko na ba ng talisman? Ang malas ko na eh. 

Walang imik lang si President na umupo don. Mukhang wala ng magawa si mam kaya pinabayaan nalang ito.

Tignan mo naman president pero bad influence. Tsk! tsk!

Pagkatapos ng mga lesson ay pumunta na ako sa canteen at nagorder ng smoothie. Pumunta naman ako sa nakaraang inupuan namin at halos naandon ang student council.

Napasimangot ako sa ingay ng paligid. Iiwas na sana ako ng tawagin ako ni Secretary Vi.

"Hey, Haxielle! Sit here." She tapped the seat between her and Kamie. I sat between them.

"Yan lang kakainin mo?" Tanong ni Elijah.

"Correction, iinumin." Sabat ni Remi.

Bigla naman nagkatinginan si Elijah at Carter. They are communicating by their eyes. Impressive.

Dumating si Ash na magulo ang necktie at buhok. Halatang galing sa bugbugan dahil sa kamao nitong namumula. Paano nga ba siya uli naging president? 

Umupo ito sa tapat ko.

Biglang naging akward ang buong lugar. Walang nagsasalita.

Tumayo na sana ako at aalis ng magsalita ang demonyo.

"Miss Merdigan, where do you think you are going?" Everyones eyes turned into me ng binanggit ang pangalan ko.

"To Headmaster Office? I haven't talk yet to the headmaster." It's true. I need to know who runs this school. To thank him/her of course.

Mukhang payag naman siya kaya sinenyasan niya akong umalis na.

I roamed the school for headmaster office nang makita ko ito ay agad akong pumasok at umupo. Ay! Nakalimutan kong kumatok.

To my surprise may naka handang tsaa sa coffee table. I read the note.

Enjoy the coffee, Lady Merdigan. 

My brow raised ng mamukhaan ang sulat. Why is it familiar?

Dumako ang tingin ko sa upuang nakatalikod. May nakatalikod doon na tao.

"Why Dad created a rule for 9?" I asked curious about why Dad do that ngunit wala akong nakuhang sagot.

Is he sleeping?

I take a sip of the tea. Green tea... the taste of the tea is also familar. Brand lang pala namin.

Bumukas ang pintuan nandon ang student council nakatayo kasama sila Remi at Kamie. Naramadaman kong tumayo narin ang lalaking nasa office chair. 

Halos mabuga ko ang tubig ng makita ang pagmumukha nito.

He smiled that freaking smile.

"So kids, you have your new mission."

"Tito Hector?!"

"Hector?!"
