"Hector?!"

Remi and I said in unison.

"You know Master Hector?" Elijah asked. Hector turned his swivel chair to listen on us.

Tumingin ako kay Carter na nasa likod ni Ash nagtatago. Lumabas ito habang nagp-peace sign sa akin.

"He's our butler." Carter answered which made every one gasped except the four of us samantalang tumaas ang kilay ni Ash.

"Wow! A noisy Merdigan is keeping a secret! Pero seryoso nga?" Vissy exclaimed. Three of us just nod at her.

Hector cleared his throat before saying something.

"All of you, Student Council including Remilla Cage was assigned to guard Lady Heaven Morisson due to threat of terrorism attack happening lately in Morrison Clan." Hector announced.

"Is that the latest news happening? The 'Mother' of Morrison Clan, Hayena Morrison just died in terrorists on her flight to Hawaii, Cuba. There are rumors it happened because Lady Hayena was leading in politician party that's why they are scaring the clan to settle down. The main suspect in investigation right now is Junro Guevas." Vissy stated.

It's about power...

Tch! Bunch of greedy humans.

"You are right, Ms. Lucian. You have already an appointment with the clan tomorrow 7 am. They are expecting your presence." Hector suddenly pulled out an fancy looking envelope.

"Were going to take the mission and let them know that we'll be there exactly 5." Ash said and seriously put the envelope in his pocket. Adik! Pinaaga pa.

"Uhh... is it okay na narinig ni Kamie?" Remi confusingly said pointing at Kamie whose in state of confusion.

"Its fine, since I know Lady Cage that you'll tell her to later." Hector proudly said that made me smirked. It's a fact. Remi is there chuckling shyly. Madaldal kasi.

We are in every dismissed earlier than I expected. Halos free time naman kami.

I head towards the shooting range na nadaanan ko nakaraan. The shooting range facility was actually large. Andito ang iba't ibang klase ng baril na ang alam kong galing sa amin.

I grabbed a M9 pistol and started practicing my targets. I hit the right target everytime I release a bullet.

I was about to release the last bullet ng marinig kong may pumalakpak sa likod. I lowered my gun and faced him.

"You are really impressive for a girl." Puri nito sa akin at kumuha ng baril na kagaya nung akin.

"Are you stereotyping that we girls are not good enough for this kind of things?" Mataray kong sabat dito. Wala itong sagot kundi kibit-balikat lang ito.

"Just my opinion. Since, some of the girls here in the academy doesn't meet the expectation of using weapons. They just flirt with men." He said aiming his target. Pinakawalan ko na ang huling bala.

"Then don't compare me to them. Lumino, you don't even know who am I." I drop the gun to its container and take a my gear off.

"Tch! But you are already a mystery to me." Bulong nito but it is enough for me to hear it. I smirked as I start to walk out.

"Then, don't solve me. You don't deserve to solve a mystery like me." I coldly replied to him and leave him there alone.

"Ano ba yan ang tagal na naman ni Sec Vissy at VP Hex!" Reklamo ni Remi.

"Baka nagmake out yung dalawa?" Sabay na sabi ni Carter at Elijah. Binato ko ang hawak kong bote sa kanilang dalawa. Ayan na naman sila...

"Aray Insan! Shems Haxielle!" Sabay na sabi ng dalawa habang kinakamot ang ulo nila.

"Yow guys! Sorry we're late. Morning!" Masayang bati ni Vissy habang dala dala ang isang hand bag. Sunod naman dumating si Hexton na dala ang apat na hand bag. Mabilis kong sinamaan ng tingin si Vissy.

"It's 2 am. It's not yet morning." Bulong ni Remi.

Lumapit ako kay Hexton para kunin ang isa sa mga hand bag ngunit inagaw agad sa akin ni Elijah at kinuha ni Carter ung isang bag kay Hex.

"Hoy! Vissy ba't di mo tinulungan si Hex? Daming dala oh." Sabi ni Remi. Humarap si Vissy dito na naka pamewang.

"Bakit? Ang bigat kaya ng dala kong to!" Taray na sabi ni at nilabas ang mini fan niya. Drama!

"What are you doing there? Let's go." Masungit na utos ni Ash na bumaba saglit sa kotse. Pumasok na kami sa van. Ash was driving the car. It was fast enough kaya nakarating kami don ng 30 mins earlier.

The guards immediately scan the whole car including the guns, knives and suit that they brought. Ash showed the invitation.

Walang pagdududang pinapasok kami sa loob. It is and enormous mansion covered up with fancy things. Maids alternately bow their heads for respect.

Pagbukas ng pinakamain door ay sumalubong ang mga babantayan namin.

"Welcome Student Council of Elyxir... you are all earlier than I thought. I am Mr. Houston Morrison." Inabot nito ang kamay kay Ash na tinaggap nito.

"This is my daughter Heaven and his uncle, Vestor." Patukoy niya sa batang may hawak na teddy bear at ung tito nitong mukhang nasa 20's. Too bad the kids mother is already dead.

"Hello, I am Vestor Morrison. Please do your duties." He smiled sweetly and carry his niece. I smirked in his action.

"The maids will guide you to your temporary rooms. There's only two rooms available kung okay-" Ash cut him off.

"It's okay we'll divide it." Kalmadong sabi ni Ash.

We followed the maids towards the room. Nagpagdesisyunan namin na babae at lalaki na ang hati.

We entered a massive room with two king beds.

"Solo ako." Madaliang sabi ni Vissy. Kita ko ang pag-ikot ng mata ni ni Remi.

"Sige sayo na wala naman may gustong tumabi sayo." Pagtataray muli ni Remi dito. Nagsamaan lang ito ng mga tingin.

Di na ako nakisawsaw dito at inayos ang gamit ko sa gilid.

At the night, the Morrison Clan maid call us to dine in with them.

The whole atmosphere was eerie. Pagkatapos ay tinawag kami ni Vestor upang paalahanan. I let them go without me upang bantyan ang bata.

I was sitting at the corner when the kid grab the edge of my skirt.

"What's your name?" She bubbly asked. Her face was too innocent na parang di niya alam ang nangyari sa ina niya.

"Haxielle Devi Merdigan." I answered. She tried to climb in my lap. Napansin ko ito kaya binuhat ko ito para umupo sa akin.

"Can I call you Ate Devi?" She hugs her teddy bear at sumiksik sa dibdib ko.

She was staring at the stars in the windows.

Her eyes were blank and sad.

"My mom should be happy there without me, without us right?" She asked out of blue. Hinaplos ko ng marahan ang buhok nito.

"You knew..." Bulong ko.

"Of course... dahil naandon po ako. I bid a goodbye to mom. She promised that she will get me the flowers that came from there kasi po maganda sila tignan. But she didn't returned." A tear escaped from the child's eyes.

"Hush, child. She will be fine there. She might be sad not giving you what she promised but she's happy that you are still alive." She hugged me at bumaba sa pagkakakandong sa akin.

"Halika po, Ate Devi. My dad will be home a little later. Samahan mo po ako." The child smiled cutely. Tumango ako at nagpahila dito.

We waited at the the front door.

Minutes later, dumating si Mr. Morrison. When his eyes planted on me I immediately bow which he did back to me.

"Daddy!" Heaven rushed towards her Daddy to kiss it at cheeks.

"How's my sweetie?" He asked his daughter. Heaven just nod at nagpakarga dito.

"Were are the others?" He asked me.

"At Vestor's Room, sir." I answered and following his tracks towards his brother's room.

The door opened with the whole Student Council on it. It seems na tumutulong sila sa pag-iimbestiga.

His brother, Vestor walk towards us laughing.

"Am I right brother, about the Dying Maid?" He laughingly asked his brother.

"Ow that story?" Vestor nodded.

"Yes, it's true the dying maid it always happen." Pabirong sabi ni Mr. Morisson.

"Hahaha! Di po totoo multo." Sabi ni Carter na kinangiwi ko. Ikaw nga takot sa multo eh!

"Sir Morrison!"

Lahat kami napatingin sa pinto. Andon nakatayo ang isang maid na hingal. Halatang galing ito sa takbo.

"What is it Elena?" Tanong ni Mr. Morrison.

"A maid-"

"Stella the maid, is dead"

We all froze at the same moment.
