Chapter 8

-Haxielle-

We rushed into the crime scene.

A woman in her mid 20's was lying on the ground. Her eyes are wide open the legs were stretched.

"What happened?" Mr. Morrison asked.

"Mr. Morrison, she unexpectedly collapsed on the floor sir, ginawa po namin ang lahat upang pigilan ngunit nawalan na ito ng buhay." Paliwanag ng isang maid.

Lumapit ako at sinuri ang katawan. This look... I've done this many times.

"She's poisoned." Sabi ko. Lumapit si Ash at sinuri ang katawan. Hexton wear his gloves at sinuri ang buong kusina.

"I'm sure she drank this." Hexton showed a cup with a tea.

"Seal it kid, I'm making someone to test that." Sabi ni Mr. Morrison. Hexton throws the content in the sink and seal it carefully. There's something in there na nagpaduda sa akin lalo.

Pagkatapos non ay pinabalik kami ni Mr. Morrison sa kanya-kanya namin kwarto. While the boy ended up helping with them.

Hindi ako makatulog.

The two girls beside me are sleeping peacefully. I heard Remi snoring. Umalis ako sa pagkakahiga at nag lakad-lakad sa buong mansion. I brought my pen knife with me.

Habang naglilibot ako ay napadaan ako sa library kung saan nadatnan ko si Sir Vestor na nagbabasa ng libro habang umiinom ng tsaa.

"Is the investigation going well?" Tanong ko dito sabay umupo sa tapat na upuan.

"They are taking care of it." Sagot nito at isinuyo sa akin ang tsaa na nasa harapan.

"I don't drink tea." Pagtanggi ko dito. I'm getting suspicious of him and the drink.

"Then coffee?" I nodded and a buff man was carrying a coffee. It was espresso. Haha. Its not really my type.

"I prefer cappuccino and iced." I winked at him. I know that he knows something. The next thing he did was to stand up in his chair.

An arrow passed my eyes at naiwasan ko ito agad.

Many of his men surround me.

"The V tattoo on your man it's your sign right including the one in the tea?." I said pulling out my ballpen and turn it to knife. He just smiled and order some of his man to attack me.

I stab the knife into of the buff man dahilan upang mapahiyaw to. This is not gonna work. I felt something stab my back.

I cursed silently.

One of the buff man was supposed to attack me ng sinalo ito ni Hex. Hexton landed a punch on the man. Napahiga ako when I felt the pain.

Freak! What a useless time to be like this.

Babangon na sana muli ako ng tuluyang magdilim paningin ko.

-Third PoV-

"Ate Devi!' Umiiyak na sigaw ni Heaven na pilit nilalayo ng ama.

"Carter, Remi! quick bring her to the room." Utos ni Hex dito. Agad umalis si Carter dala ang pinsan nito.

"Vestor! Ano ba ang gusto mo?!" Galit na sabi ni Mr. Morrison. Tumawa lang ng parang baliw si Vestor.

"Damn it. Anong panglalaban natin kung nasa kwarto ung mga gamit?! Like duh, di ko hahawakan mga tabachoy na to!" Reklamo ni Vissy. Halos lahat ng tao ay nabaling ang tingin sa kanya.

"What?!" Maarte nitong tanong.

-Haxielle-

One the man knocked Vissy down. Natawa ako habang nanonood sa kanila mula sa hindi kalayuan.

Ang drama...

Everyone is busy fighting and protecting the important ones. Halos nahihirapan sila dahil unti lang sila. Napatingin ito sa labas ng buong mansyon.

They are all knocked down by Vestor's people what a beautiful sight. 

Sumama na sa pakikipaglaban si Carter na kakabalik lang.

This is getting boring. 

She shot one of the man na nilalabanan ni Hexton. Nakita iyon ni Hexton kaya nahanap niya agad kung saan ito galing.

"Grim Reaper." Sabi nito sa isip.

Bumaba ito sa malaking bintana at sinimulan patayin ang mga tauhan nito. Lumapit ito kay Hexton natulala.

She kicked the man's abdomen and struck a knife there. Ash suddenly run to her and pin Grim to the wall.

"What are you doing here?" Matigas na tanong ni Ash. Grim doesn't care about it kahit sinasakal na ito.

"Is it obvious? I'm helping." In a blink lumapit siya kay Heaven at niyakap upang himdi makita niyang pinapatay ang mga tauhan.

"Ate Devi?" Takang bulong ng bata. Haxielle hushed her.

"Let's have a secret." Malamig na sabi ni Axel. Mukhang naiintindihan ito ng bata kaya di na nito binanggit ang pangalan.

Nang maubos ang tao ni Vestor ay agad ito nawala sa tabi ni Heaven at hinarap nito si Vestor.

"Well... well... what murderer do we have here?" She gripped to Vestor's chin.

"Who are you?" Tanong ni Vestor habang pilit tinatanggal ang pagkagapos ng kamay ni Grim.

"Well, I am the freak they used to call Grim Reaper." Madiing bigkas nito katulad ng ginawa nito sa babae. 

"To kill your brother's wife for power?" She playfully asked at binaon ang isa sa dagger nito sa balat ni Vestor.

"What did you do, Vestor Morrison?!" Galit na sigaw ni Mr. Morrison. He is mad as hell na lumapit na ito sa kapatid at sinuntok.

Pinanood lang ito ni Grim. Tuwang-tuwa ito sa nangyayari. She did a research all before they came here. Kita palang sa pekeng ngiti ni Vestor na may ginawa ito.

Pati noong nasa kusina sila ay nakangiti ito ng palihim na kitang-kita ni Haxielle. She always used to see what she shouldn't.

Vestor created the story to scare every one. Ngunit lahat ng maid na biktima ay scinam ito ng malaking halaga sa pamilya nito.

He never keep his promises... 

Ash watched how did a Mr. Morrison nearly killed his brother. Pinigilan niya ito at pinaubaya sa pulis.

Dumako ang tingin nito kay Grim na blankong nakatingin sa magkapatid. Mukhang napansin iyon ni Grim at sinamaan ito ng tingin.

The stares they are familiar. 

Bigla itong naglabas ng baril at pinatay si Vestor. Kumulo naman ang dugo ni Ash.

"What the heck did you just do?!" Galit na sabi nito kay Grim na unting umaatras.

"He should pay for his crimes in a fair way. Ciao!"

She was about to disappear ng harangan ito ni Hexton and sinubukang tanggalin ang mask nito.

"Congrats Uno. Your mission is accomplished."

Umalis na kami kinumagahan. Heaven kept my secret forever. Dahil di na kami babalik dito.

Should I tell them this thing?

But I am positive na para sa akin lang ito.
