"I can't!" Merlin snapped and stated, "she had to transform on her own, if she can fight it we'll have her back, if she can't then she's simply gone."

The voice echoed through her mind, like a voice calling to her in a dream. Arianna was in darkness, alone and unsure. What had happened to her? Now seemed like a distant memory to Arianna. She remembered fragments, like Demetrius holding her, his eyes turning black with rage as her life slipped through his fingers. She had died, Clitus had killed her, and now she wasn't sure where she was.
