Taking a whiff ,he hears the ruckus inside and the aura of Alpha King approaching.

It does feel like something is missing from the kissing scene to Logan meeting with Benjamin in the forest and there's no explanation about how that scene came about...

Ok so there is a huge chunk in the story that isn’t complete to understand what happened from her kissing Logan to Alex being captured.
