“Lyra, you know you shouldn't give up.” Crystal said.

Sobbing she responded: “I have to hope left, look we're under a tree drenching in the rain, why shouldn't I give up, I wish I was never born.”

“Lyra, you have to hold on everything will soon be fine,” Crystal said, encouraging Lyra to hold on.

“Everything will be fine, really, how can you even say that in this condition? Everything would not be fine.” Lyra blurted out, almost screaming.

Lyra sat there devastated, consumed by pain, she remembered the good days when her parents were still alive, when they used to shower her with love, when she used to live a life.

Now everything had shattered, she was left to die just like her parents, just differently.
