Chapter 5 • What Is Happening To Me

"Where were you when you left your body?" The oracle asked Yvonne in a very low voice as her eyes were fixed up on the ceiling as if she's looking for something.

Marya already helped Mia out of the conundrum of the council of elders but for the oracle she is really not sure of how to help her out.

"In my chamber, I wandered around my chamber everyday trying to wake my body with some spells I locked within but it took time to unlock the spells." Yvonne said with an action that looks so untainted.

"The gods are not speaking, I'll get back to you." The oracle said as if mumbling incoherent words.

Yvonne didn't even hear what she said but understood it when she stood up and opened the door for exit.

Outside the house she tapped her stick twice on the ground and immediately disappeared into the thin air.

Yvonne let out the breath she never knew she'd been holding.

She chimed the door open and made an attempt of walking to their mansion when she heard someone call her from afar.

"Mia…" Linda called out her name as she ran towards her.

"Mia, it's been a long time since we last went out together, stroll the human world and play some pranks, why not try something fun today." Linda said after she caught her breath as she was breathing heavily.

"Okay yeah, why not but we have to change our clothes." Yvonne said to her feeling exhilarated about the whole stroll.

"We don't need to, I will help you change your clothes with my powers don't worry soon you will get your powers back okay?" Linda said to her as she pats her back.

"Yeah, let's go." Yvonne said and Linda linked her arm through his in an affectionate way.

They walked a long distance before they came into a forest that's very thick. Yvonne got tired and said to Linda in a whisper.

"This place is very bizarre, is there a faster way except through the forest?" Yvonne asked her in a tired voice.

"Mm mm… yeah, we can use my powers." Linda said beaming with smiles on her face.

"Really? okay then." Yvonne replied with her tone sounding more energetic.

Linda held Yvonne's hand tightly, looked to the sky mumbling incoherent words and together they faded into the thin air.

"Wow… Very easy and fast , I love it so much." Yvonne said feeling very happy about the whole invisible riding.

"Yvonne, look at the humans, do you want to be like them?" Linda asked her while pointing at some people going to their various workplace and errands.

"No, I never wished to be like them." Yvonne said to her with her jaw raised up a little as she clenched her lips tightly.

"Let's go to a school first and see what a school is like, remember that's what we planned before you blanked off for a while." Linda said, looking straight into Yvonne's sea green eyes.

"Yeah, that's right. Come on, let's change our clothes." Yvonne said in an attempt to end the subject.

"Come, hold my hands," Linda said to Yvonne as she stretched out her hands to be held.

"Close your eyes and concentrate." Linda said to her after she held her hands.

As Yvonne held her hand with her eyes closed, Linda started mumbling incoherent words which Yvonne didn't quite understand at first but before she knew it she was speaking the words with Linda.

"Woah, wow! This is amazing…" The astonished Yvonne said as she looked at herself and then at Linda.

They were no longer in their black clothes, they both were wearing tight black Jean pants and red crop tops with a matching black canvas with a bag.

"But we need books." Yvonne said to Linda as she opened the bag zipper and realized there weren't any books in it.

"Okay, plug leaves, let's get a book." Linda said to her.

"Close your eyes, concentrate and there you'll get a book." Linda said to Yvonne after she plugged the leaves and brought them to her.

After doing what she was told a green color note book appeared on Yvonne's palm. She smiled in satisfaction.

"Mia take this, we can use it to buy whatever we need." Linda handed her a bundle of dollar notes.

"Look, it's a car, let's behave like city girls and ask for a lift." Linda said and drew Yvonne's hand as she started walking towards the car.

Yvonne halted on her track when she felt someone's presence, the feeling that the person is very close to her like she can hear his heartbeat.

She untangled her hands from Linda's as she twirled around to know if perhaps someone was following her but she saw no one behind her.

"Mia, what's the problem? Did you space out for a while?" Kinda asked her in a joking manner but she didn't even get a scintilla of a joke in Yvonne's voice.

"Linda, help me stop that car, now!" Yvonne shouted and the confused Linda instantly pointed her index finger on the car's two left tyres and the car instantly came to a halt.

"Mia, what's the matter? Why did you want to stop the car?" Linda asked her with a perplexed state.

Yvonne left her and walked towards the car, Linda followed her immediately as she almost ran so as to meet up with her.

"Linda, make the car start slowly." Yvonne said in a commanding tone but Linda still did it.

When the car started, Yvonne immediately went in front of the car and fell down as if the car even touched let alone hit her.

"Ahhhh…" She exclaimed as she fell on the ground clutching to her legs while she winced in feigning pain.

The driver of the car immediately came down from the car and rushed to her side.

He bent towards her in an attempt to help her.

Yvonne opened her eyes the minute he placed his hands on hers. She sat upright on the floor and looked at the driver with her eyes threatening to bulge out of its sockets.

'Its him, my quisling mate, my betrayer,

I will make you know you hurt the wrong person.' Yvonne said within her as she maintained an eye contact with him, as tears clouded her eyes pleading to be released.

Raymond immediately raised her up as his wolf kept jumping in excitement of finding his mate again.

He bent his head towards Yvonne's neck so as to claim her immediately but Yvonne placed her index finger on her mouth while looking at him not breaking their eye contact.

'What is happening to me.' Raymond asked himself as he felt null and not in control of himself all of a sudden.
