Riley POV

“Have a seat while I get towels and washcloths.” Ryder’s mom said at me. “do you mind if Remi comes in? She’s right outside.” she asked.

“Thank you, Mrs. Stone.” I just realized that even know her first name. “And, yeah, she can come in. My dad and Ryker are probably worried about me.” I snorted.

“Oh, please just call me Helen.” she said, turning the water on for me.

“Hey, what can I do to help?” Remi asked.

“You can help Ryle undress and into the shower.” Helen instructed her. Between her and Remi, my body was sparkling clean, and my hair was washed and conditioned.

“So, how is my oldest son treating you?” Helen asked.

I smiled, “he’s been, or should I say, Kycen, has been very protective.” I snickered. “It’s something that I’m not used to, I’m used to being the one to be protective, not the other way around.” I shrugged.

“Give it some time because believe it or not, Ryder is absolutely crazy about you.” She chuckled.

I frowned, “but how can that be? I mean, we just met?”
