Athena's heart skipped a beat as she saw Ardolf standing by the doorway, his gaze filled with concern and relief. The room seemed to shrink, and the world around them faded into the background, leaving only the two of them in a space filled with unspoken emotions.

A rush of happiness flooded through Athena's veins, washing away the remnants of pain and uncertainty.
