Chapter eight

"Hello, are you lost?",she asked.

Her voice was soft, very gentle as against what she was expecting. Laura walked towards her and she chuckled when she saw her take a step back, her back hitting the railings of the balcony. She was scared, that much was certain but what she couldn't understand was the look of care and adoration she saw in her eyes. That wouldn't be good because she wasn't expecting that, she had everything mapped out and this was something unexpected.
