“Who?” Zara asked.

“What do you mean who?” Dencie shrieked in terror. Was her panicked state not enough to tell her friend who she was talking about?

Zara's gaze narrowed as she tried to figure out who Denice was talking about.

Why was she this scared? The last time she saw her in a somewhat similar state was when alpha Draven had slept over at their house… “Wait,” her eyebrows widened in shock, “Is it him?”

Denice nodded wordlessly. She was still trembling like a leaf.

Zara gasped in disbelief and before she knew it, she was sprinting past her friend, she came to a stop at the stable doors, “Where?”

“Our cabin,” Denice muttered, she was out of breath.

Now that Zara was back in one piece, maybe the nightmare would finally be over.

Zara ran through the pack with the wind in her face and joy in her heart.

If what Denice said was true, Alpha Draven was okay now, he was in her cabin waiting for her – all was well?

She did not know, she did not care in that moment all she wanted was to be
