LOGINDahlia's Point of View DING! MOON BLESSED'S FIRST TASK: RETRIEVE THE MOON STONE HIDDEN IN NORTHMONT HIGH What the? Did I hear Robby right? How did we get here? From trying to know who I am to...I paused when I remembered, half thought, that the system just called me Moon Blessed. That was the same name the white-robed woman called me in that dream, or whatever it was, on my seventeenth birthday. And then I remembered Robby told me that I am the last one of this bloodline. "That should be it, should be who I am, but what race? Which of the supernatural creatures am I? Another puzzle to solve." I thought aloud. Now back to what Robby said earlier, it tasked me to retrieve the Moon Stone, yet I'm confused. How do I get that, and what would it be used for? I'LL START BY GETTING MORE KNOWLEDGE IF I WERE YOU. Those were Robby's words. And to be candid, it was right. If I really wanted to know who I was or where this whole situation of mine hailed from, I needed to gain more knowledge
Dahlia's POV "You heard that. Who the hell do you think you are to show up at a party you weren't invited to?" Lunara spat as Kyren approached us. I was sure he wasn't talking to me, because if he was, that would have been some bullshit. Couldn't he have invited me to humiliate me after all he promised me just yesterday? "Could he?" I questioned myself. "I wasn't talking to Dahlia." Kyren clarified. My nerves calmed immediately when I heard those words. I had earlier thought of destroying Kyren right there without a prompt from Robby or even thinking about the repercussions of my actions. But the universe just saved him from a painful punch that could have led to his death. I lifted a log heavier than his father. Breaking his bones wouldn't be a difficult thing. "I was speaking to you, Luna. Who the hell do you think you are to embarrass my guests in such a manner?" He explained. Lunara's mouth flung open just as her eyes went wide. I didn't notice that we had drawn the att
Dahlia's Point of View A boy sat beside me, thanks to the empty seat on my left side, and handed me an envelope. "He wants me to give you this," the boy said. I took it and flashed a small smile at him. I didn't need to scan the hall to know who he referred to."Aren't you forgetting an important piece of information, Dahlia?" Soraya questioned me on our way to the dorm room to change our clothes. She had insisted we attend the opening event after-party that was organized by the seniors. It was to take place in a part of the cafeteria I never knew existed-a mini hall right behind the cafeteria. I never paid attention to details, so I wouldn't know.A few Year One students were said to be invited, and fortunately or unfortunately, I happened to get an invite thanks to Kyren, who sent two copies through the Year One student earlier. He watched as the boy approached me and delivered his message. I saw his gaze scan my hands, and I knew he was trying to see if I wore the wristband he g
Dahlia's Point of View Morning came in a flash; I jerked up all sweaty from a scary dream. If you ask me, I'd say I had that dream because of overthinking, but the butterflies in my stomach, which followed me right from the dream into real life said otherwise. Since the night Kyren sat beside me in the woods, I have been having a strange feeling towards him. Wanting to be wherever he is even when we wouldn't talk to each other, and my legs...yes..my legs seemed to disobey me each time he was close. As if they always wanted to pull me towards him. But this time around in my dream, I saw him standing beside me during a battle, promising me that he would be beside me no matter what. My body tingled at his words. I felt seen, loved, and cared for, all at once. But then the system chimed, reminding me that I was awake now. THE ALPHA WILL REJECT THE BOND, it said. What bond? Who was the alpha Robby meant? And who would he reject? I asked no one in particular. None of Robby's words m
Dahlia's point of view "Apology accepted, and what's the second thing? I know you didn't insist on seeing me outside the school for nothing," I questioned, believing my journey didn't get obstructed because of mere apologies. Something he could do by throwing a note in school if he didn't want us to be seen together. Because there was no other way to explain this act he just pulled. Why insist on seeing me outside the school premises if not that he was afraid someone would see him with the fat girl who shines black? I swore I wasn't going to see him no matter what when he called me earlier. I told myself that he was just a distraction to my plan, yet Raya succeeded in convincing me. I asked the driver to drive slowly because I was expecting someone to catch up with us after Raya pleaded that I wait for Kyren. What I didn't know was that he would drive so recklessly to announce his arrival. "I saw you." He disclosed. "Saw me where?" I whispered, barely lifting my head and alrea
Kyren's POV I spent my whole break learning the family business. After seeing and knowing everything Dad and the council had hidden from the world, I told myself, "Is this really what I wanted?" If you ask me, I don't want one bit of it, but how do I tell Dad that I don't want to be a party to this? I certainly wouldn't do something as stupid as that. I just had to play along. Obey them and never leave a single trace that I don't like whatever they're doing. After seeing the main purpose of the school in the council chamber, I knew Dahlia was in danger. The urge to find out what or who she really was became my priority. Especially after the pull I felt towards her the night I saw her alone in the woods. I thought of finding out who she was before the Council does. But how could I achieve that when she already hated me? No doubt about that, because I watched her and didn't help her when she needed. There was no way she could understand why I did that. I had secretly followed her aro
