Arielle’s POV:

I woke up from the short nap I had taken, and now, the sun had finally set. Day one had passed, I thought with a relieved sigh. I could not wait to be out of here, and I never thought I would miss my pack so much.

Before I even left the bed, I sat up, deep in thought. I was still reeling from the events of the entire day, ever since I had gone with the Rogues to treat their injured members. And Leon. I was still in shock over everything it seemed, because why else would I feel this way about Leon?

I did not love him anymore. I was sure of it now, more than ever. I had no idea how it happened, or what was the tipping point for me. I looked down on my hand, right where I had gotten the scratch as he had been violent with me when we met at the hallway.

I was beginning to regret ever agreeing to come here. Despite everything though, I knew that I would make the decision all over again if it meant that Beta Darren could take the rescued pack members home. At least, they were

could it be that she didn't accept the rejection back then and being close to hom again is causing the pain? Or it could be that Richard is missing her and is going crazy with out her as well.

Please don’t tell me Richard is sleeping with someone? I wonder if it is because he’s obviously not ready to think about her being his mate but I think they are, their just not aware. Thoroughly enjoying this story and can’t wait for the next chapter!
