4. Auditions

"I mean this girl's got nerves, just look at how fat and poorly dressed she is, they won't accept her, she should just give up and walk back home. I am pretty sure if she even tries to apply for the post of being a maid she would never be accept." I looked at the girl who made the comment and she was so small and skinny like her parents never fed her enough. I shrugged her off waiting for my turn.

"Oh come on even if she applied at my house I would totally reject her, even maids should be dressed more prettier than this, she looks like a begger.." The other girl said. These words pierced my heart but I wasn't going to let it ruin my mood.

"Miss Victoria Chlicton Ponce." My name was announced.

I took a deep breath and opened the doors as the lights shoon brightly on my face making me squint my eyes.

"What is this!!" I heard someone say in a gruff annoyed voice. I couldn't see the face of the man since the whole room was dark and only a spot light was on me. I am guessing Everyone was seeing me but I couldn't see them.

"Is this a joke? I have no time for jokes just look at her she is fat and ugly definitely not TV material.." The entire room was lit up and I was no longer on the spotlight. There were about five men and two women in the room, the women were dressed in fancy clothes that made them look so hot like "jump out of vogue" kind of hot. Their beauty looked so unreal I'm pretty sure they have gone through tones of plastic surgery and putting on beauty products.

The men were equally hot except for one. Who was giving me dirty looks. I am sure he is the man who just called me ugly.

He had dark hair with brown eyes and was fat too and here he is telling me off while he was worse than me with a portbelly something I didn't have. 

"GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!!." He shooed me away like I was some dog.

I felt hurt that they didn't even give me a chance but I didn't dare cry I was going to achieve my dreams of becoming an actress no matter what! They can't stop me. I gave myself a Pep talk

I looked at the man one more time then gathered up the little dignity I had left, then walked out with my head held high.

"See I told you she wasn't going to be accepted.." I heard the same girls say again once I stepped out of the auditioning room.

I simply ignored them walking outside.

" how was it?" Ren asked me once I step outside the building, " I am guessing by that long face, they didn't accept you?"

" They didn't even give me a chance to show them what I was capable of.." I let out a long sigh, " let's just go home.."

" Don't be disheartened okay I am sure they will accept you next time you try." She encouraged. I nodded my head as she drove off to the orphanage.

**Micheal pov**

Twenty five years and still haven't found my mate, it's a good thing for me but my parents hate it. I hate the idea of having a mate, I mean I can't be tied down to one woman for life I would rather I continue my playboy ways. But the fact that my parents are pressuring me is getting on my nerves making me get frustrated.

 I threw away the pen that I was holding then leaned back in my office chair.

 I have looked for my mate everywhere but still no luck. Both my parents have been pressuring me to find her and take over the role of King of all wolves because they were too old, I tried telling them that I will just pick a random she Wolf and make her Queen Luna but " A true mate is important and will make a good and powerful luna" according to grandma Serene.

I wasn't even able to take over the pack which just sucks especially with the fact that my patience was running out! Why can't  I just find the damn chick and get done with it.!

" Some one is in distress." my chick Gemma said entering my office with a skirt that was barely covering her and a shirt that was too tight to fit little Kiara, Jack's daughter.

All the guys in my family (except my little brothers) had found their mates and already started a family while I was still mateless.

"Hey sweetness.." I smirked looking at her as she flushed me that seductive smirk that always lightened up my day.

Thinking about my mate and dealing with the family business was taking a toll on me and Gemma was just the destruction I needed.

She wasn't the only chick in my life, I have plenty. I was cheating on her just like she was.

We both only wanted one thing from each other, sex!

"Wanna go for a ride handsome?" She asked locking the door then coming towards me sashaying her hips.

"With you always.." I said as she bend down giving me a full view of herself and I was ready to do many sinful things to her.

" Micky you should focus on finding your mate, you know I am growing old, I need a grandson." Mom whined using my childhood nickname that I hated so much.

"Micky.." I heard Cheistina Aaron's mate and the future female beta say with a small giggled at the end. Charisma Jack's mate giggled too but one glare from me had them shutting up and eating their breakfast.

" Mom please never call me Micky again I am not a little boy any more.." I said sipping my coffee.

Everyone else had gathered around the breakfast table by everyone I mean my entire family which was like twenty plus people in total. The Alpha mansion had been extended to accommodate more family members that were coming.

" come on Micky," I almost choked on my coffee hearing her call me the name I Just told her not to call me, " I am getting old, I need a grandson.." 

"Mom  stop pressuring me! You are the goddess why don't you do some magic and let me find my mate sooner or magically give yourself a grandson.." I said in monotone getting up from my seat going to my room. I was sick and tired of this! It wasn't my fault that I wasn't finding the damn chick!!

"Come on Micky don't be like this, I know you are not looking hard enough.." she said following after me while I went up to my room to get ready for work. 

" Mom just leave me alone okay! I am so damn tired of you pressuring me about finding a mate. I have tried looking for her okay and she is nowhere to be found what else do you want me to do? Print and post flyers with a heading " help mate needed" in bold letters?" I questioned in exasperation. 

" Well - well I feel like you are not looking hard enough. I want a grandson okay I am getting old I don't wanna die before I see your kids. You know what? I will arrange a ball inviting all she wolves around the world to see whether one of them is your mate.."

" Mom you've been arranging those balls ever since I turned eighteen please leave it okay plus you are immortal.." I deadpanned fixing my neck tie

"Micky.." she whined sitting on my bed crossing her arms with a pout. Mom sometimes acted like the youngest kid in our house she was always blackmailing and throwing tantrums. I wonder how Dad has been able to handle her for so long. I sighed going over to her and sitting on the bed.

" I promise I will try harder okay my love.." I kissed her cheek and her eyes sparkled with happiness

"Really Micky?" she asked in a hopeful voice.

" Mom atleast stop calling me micky..." 

" I will stop when you find a mate and give me a grandson.." she said smiling widely. I groaned but didn't press on the matter

" I will find her.." 

" That's great I will go tell your Dad and everyone else so we can start preparing your coronation."

"But mom," I stopped her, "What if I don't find her? What if she is dead and you know I  am not ready to have a mate yet?"

"She isn't.." she said place her palm on my cheek; "I know you have a mate and she is somewhere around the world you just haven't looked hard enough and once you see her I know for a fact that, that desire to have a mate will be awakened. I will let you get dressed and make sure you come back home with a mate tonight." she said the last part in a sing song voice going outside my room. I groaned finishing up dressing then grabbing everything I need for work.

" I am off now.." I kissed Mom's cheek while she and my grandma Kaira, grandma Serene and grand aunt Melissa with aunt Brook sat in the sitting lounge talking about whatever women talked about.

" Goodbye or and make sure to pass by the mall and get some groceries before you come back home.." 

" sure, What do you need?" I asked her

"I will text you everything okay love you!" She said waving me off

" Love you too Mother, bye ladies.." I said to the women walking out of the house.

Jack and Aaron had already left for work and I was the last one to leave.

Since today was Friday it was a half day for us and by fourteen hours I was done with all my work...
