9. Giving him a piece of my mind

"I am Serene.." She said stretching her hand once she placed the tray on the bed side table.

"I am Victoria.." I said shaking her hand as she sat on the bed.

"I know.." she chuckled. "I brought you dinner, go on eat.."

"I am not hungry.." I said crossing my arms but my eyes were giving the food a longing look and my stomach decided to play an orchestra.

She chuckled placing the tray on her laps then grabbing a spoonfull of the delicious looking rice.

" Your mouth is saying something but your eyes are saying something else, go on eat.." I didn't even hesitate as I opened my mouth letting her feed me the rice.

A comfortable silence followed after with her feeding me until the plate was emptied.

"Get some sleep okay.." I nodded my head and she kissed my forehead leaving the room.

I smiled to myself feeling a little bit of hope. I will get out of this place and I will find my brothers.

I was about to sleep when I felt small pain in my lower abdomen. I brush it off but the pain hit me again stronger than the first time and the next thing I knew I was writhering and screaming in pain lying on the bed. I didn't know why I was feeling this. Could it be the food? No I don't think so. 

The pain kept on growing stronger and stronger until my body became numb and I couldn't feel it anymore as I was pulled into nothingness.

"Victoria.." I felt someone shake me

"Victoria.." I heard again

I groaned opening my eyes to see the same woman from earlier.

"Oh great you are awake.." she said cheerily, "I am soo happy to finally meet you! Hi I am Scarlet, Micheal's Mom.." She stretched out her hand and I just stared at it moving a bit far away from the lady. 

"Didn't you come into my room and poison me last night?" I blurted out.

"What?" She was taken aback

"You brought me food last night and after I finished eating it I felt pain in my stomach.."

"What are you talking about? I didn't come into your room last night.."

"Yes you did!!" I ended up shouting. "You came and introduced yourself as Serene then feed me but the moment you left I began feeling pain in my stomach and--"

"hold on.." She cut me off

"Serene is my Mom and she would never hurt you, you a mistaken.."

"Please madam don't lie to me, the lady looked exactly like you and young too. How can she be your Mom and Micheal's grandma please leave me alone okay I don't want trouble.."

"Listen Victoria,,"she said her voice coming out soothing soft, "Where exactly didn't you feel the pain?" She asked. I pointed at my belly.

She looked like she was thinking hard about something then her face turned into a glare. 

"Eat your breakfast, I am going to kill Micheal okay?"

"What? why?" I asked her.

"He is the reason why you felt pain, there are certain things you don't know about our world and once I put Micheal in his place he will tell you everything okay.." She kissed my forehead then left the room.

I looked at the food which looked delicious by the way, I didn't even think twice about the food being poisoned and I dug in finishing it all. 

Once I was done I went to the bathroom to get myself ready for the day.

Once I was done showering and dressing up, I walked back into the room to find it cleaned and the breakfast tray wasn't in the room. 

I tried to open the door and it was locked. Dang it, this means I am going to spend the entire day alone in this huge room.

I looked around the room and luckily there was a giant flat screen TV and some novels.

I ended up watching TV and learning new acting skills from my all time celebrity crushes, the Salvadores twins.

They are the most handsome TV stars ever and if I wasn't crushing on that jerk Micheal In real life I would have totally shipped myself with them. Wait! I hate Micheal and I am not crushing on him anymore which means I can crush on the Salvadores twins.

The door opened to reveal a girl about my age holding a tray of food. So this is how my life will be. Being kept as a prisoner?

"Hi my name is Victoria what is yours?" I asked trying to start a conversation but just like I suspected, she didn't say anything just, left tray on the

bedside table then left the room. I sighed lying back on the bed continuing with the movie not even bothered about the food.

I didn't have an apetite, with everything that was happening, food was far from my mind.

She came back an hour later looked at me, then at the tray of food then at me.

With a loud sigh she left the room and a couple of minutes later Micheal walked in.

"So it's true then, you are being stubborn and not eating?" He asked in a frustrated tone.

I ignored him focus on the movie " Red sword Romance " 

"Hey I'm talking to you!" he said coming closer to the bed but again I ignored him. 

In the movie, the moment Sebastian was about to kill the enemy the TV suddenly went black.

My eyes snapped towards Micheal who had a victorious smirk on his face

"How dare you??" I glared, "Never ever ever disturb me when I'm watching a movie you got that!!" I said pointing a finger at him, "leave you are not welcome here."

"You don't have the right to push me out of this room--"

"Of course I have the right.." I got off the bed and went closer to him, "You kidnapped me and brought me here so which means I have every right to this room.." Okay my reason was totally stupid. I mentally face palmed myself.

He glared at me "how dare you--"

"I SAID LEAVE!!" I yelled at him

"Listen here little human.." He wrapped his large hand around my neck. " Don't you dare talk to me like that otherwise I will--"

"Kill me?" I asked crossing my arms staring into his silver eyes. He looked taken aback.

"Then do it. You know, I have been trying to kill myself since yesterday but all my efforts are in vain.." He let go of my neck taking a step back giving me a disbelieving look. 

"Do you remember the blood you found in the bathroom yesterday? I am not on my periods no but I slit my wrist yesterday to try and end it all. Everything went well, I was this close to dying, this close.." I said pressing my thumb and index finger tightly together, "but you know what happened?" He shook his head

"Your 'grandma' Serene.." I said grandma with air quotes, "decided to suddenly appear in my room and magically heal me. So.." I took a step closer to him, "If you want to kill me then do it! You will be doing me a favour at least I won't have to see your face everyday, So do it kill me.." I said pointing my index finger on his chest.

I grabbed the remote from his hand then jumped on the bed switching on the TV.

From the corner of my eye I could see him clench and unclench his fists and his mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water.

"Oh and by the way.." I looked at him, "Your Mom Scarlet brought me a heavy breakfast this morning. I am not hungry you can tell the maid to take the food away oh and also tell her to bring me a big bowl of popcorns it will be my lunch and also dinner okay?" My eyes went back to the TV and I got myself so engrossed the next thing I noticed was a big bowl of popcorns waiting patiently for me.

Micheal was nowhere in site and neither was the maid.

Alone at last with my two baes popcorns and TV.

** one week later***

It's been a week since I came into this house, a week since I saw and spoke to Ren, a week since I saw the outside world and also a week since I saw Micheal 

 Ever since his mom left last time telling me she was going to kill Micheal, I haven't heard from her or the other lady Serene.

The maid only comes in to clean my room then leaves coming back later to bring me either breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I was feeling super bored with no human contact. I felt like I was losing my mind. I had watched, rewatched all of the Salvadores twin's movies, got better in my acting and all that but still I needed someone to talk to.

Whenever I tried to talk to the maid she never even responded and completely ignored me like I was invisible well what else did I expect I was unloved.

I woke up this morning feeling extremely uncomfortable. My body was hot everywhere like I was being cooked. I removed the blankets thinking that maybe it's because of it that I was feeling hot but the heat just kept on increasing.
