Victor's POV

“She's really going with them,” I said in a low, flat voice.

I stood at the top of the stairs, still wet from the mess upstairs, gripping the wooden rail so hard it cracked under my fingers. Below, I watched Selene walking out of the mansion with Daniella at her side and two of the prince’s warriors flanking her like bodyguards.

They didn’t even glance back.

No one looked at me. Not even her.

“This is ridiculous,” I spat under my breath. “She's still my wife.”

I started down the steps, ignoring the pain in my ribs. The wounds hadn’t fully healed, but I didn’t care.

Vanessa hurried up beside me, her voice high and shaky. “Victor! Did you see that? They just walked out! Like they owned this place!”

“Shut up, Vanessa,” I snapped. “I'm not feeling very patient right now.”

“Excuse me?”

I ignored her and kept walking until I got to the front door.

My guards stood stiff by the gates, watching Selene disappear down the path and none of them moved.

  • The Rejected Luna,The Hidden Heiress   Chapter 70

Selene's POV “And what if I leave, Selene? Then what?” he said coldly, stepping closer. His eyes burned into mine, so full of anger, so full of something darker than rage. “Listen to me. Without me, you are nothing. Just a lowly omega. Only fit to be a slave. My slave!”His words punched the air from my lungs. They tore through whatever pieces of my heart I had left. My knees nearly buckled. Not because I was scared of him, but because part of me still stupidly wished he wouldn't say things like that.

His broad chest rose and fell heavily beneath his shirt, his fists clenched tightly at his sides.

  • The Rejected Luna,The Hidden Heiress   Chapter 66

Selene's POV I hadn’t left my room in two days. The curtains were drawn so tight not even a flicker of moonlight could sneak in. The whole place smelled like spilled wine, regret, and something rotten. Probably me. I hadn’t showered. I hadn’t eaten. I just lay there, curled up in Victor’s oversized T-shirt like it meant something. Like it didn’t smell like betrayal. My throat was still sore fr

  • The Rejected Luna,The Hidden Heiress   Chapter 65

Selene's POV After Lisa had left, I stared at the gown for a long time before finally picking it up. The style was indeed perfect. The colour, the fit, even the small details matched my taste exactly.I was really surprised Victor still remembered what I liked, but I tried to tell myself that it didn’t matter. That I didn’t care. Yet, when I finally tried on the gown and looked at myself in the mirror... I felt something I hadn’t felt in a long time.
