LOGINAnthony's POV
I could still hear Selene crying.
Even after she ended the call, her sobs echoed in my head like a curse I couldn’t shake off. She had tried to act fine, but I knew better.
I didn’t think. I didn’t ask for permission. I just grabbed my keys and stormed out.

Selene's POV Victor’s hand slid up my arm slowly. “I have got you,” he whispered, his voice deep and rough. “No one will touch you again.”But before he could say more, Elara's quiet voice interrupted the moment.“Caz, if I make it,” she breathed, “mark me. I want to be yours. Only yours.”
Selene's POV I tried to push Vanessa off, but my legs gave out, and I dropped to one knee. The poison Lisa used was working faster now. My chest was on fire, my head throbbed, and I couldn’t sense Nyra anymore. It was as if my wolf had been severed from me.“Elara,” I whispered, glancing back at her.She was still lying there, blood soaking through her clothes. Her chest barely moved, and the knif
Selene's POV I took a step closer, my pulse steady, eyes locked on Lisa. “What is this?”Before I could get another word out, the third woman pushed Lisa aside and moved forward, her boots scraping softly against the floor. Her hood fell back, and I froze.Long dark hair. Pale skin. Eyes that used to sparkle with arrogance.
Victor's POV Mirella's lip suddenly began to tremble. She covered her face with both hands, rocking gently like a wounded animal.“I didn’t mean for things to get this bad,” she cried. “I only wanted forgiveness. I would give my life if it would make Lady Selene forgive me. I swear I would.”I remained still, unfazed.
Victor's POV I was really happy when Selene said yes to having dinner with me tomorrow because I swear I had been expecting another rejection or even silence. But she said yes. After leaving her and getting to the other side of the woods, Kael suddenly howled, loud and wild, bursting with so much emotion I couldn’t keep still. I found myself sprinting through the woods like a beast let loose from a cage, the wind whipping past my face and the trees blurring around me.
Selene's POV Lisa's voice didn’t shake and that made me pause.I studied her. Her skin looked pale under the moonlight, with her hair neatly tucked behind her ears like she was trying to look smaller. But her eyes didn’t lie. They were steady and focused. Not the same girl who once slipped powder into Anthony’s drink.I still didn’t trust her. But I was too curious to walk away.
