The guards wrestled against Kaelyn who was struggling to be free.

Her blonde hair was tangled around her face, strands sticking to her damp cheeks as though she had been running. Her breath came in sharp, desperate gasps.

“Let me through!” she cried, thrashing in the guards’ grip. “I need to speak with Alpha Eugene. Please—let me through!”

The guards held firm, their armor clinking as they restrained her. The interruption shattered the chaos that had filled the hall. Gasps and murmurs rippled along the table.

Becca stiffened where she stood, her fingers curling against her dress as a stone of unease dropped into her stomach.

Kaelyn, of all nights had come here, why tonight? Her discomfort was palpable, though she tried to mask it with a calm facade.

Mira’s brow furrowed in confusion. Beside her, Jack shifted uneasily, and Max leaned forward, his sharp gaze narrowing on the scene with suspicion.

But it was Seraphina whose lips curved into an eager, delighted smile. She leaned back in

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Desmond’s New Schemes

Desmond stood before the hearth in his study, hands clasped behind his back, staring into the orange glow as if it held answers to the storm that had been churning in his mind since the day before.Yesterday’s encounter with Eugene gnawed at him. The accusation Eugene had thrown at him abput rouges stationed along the border, supposedly Desmond’s doing still rang in his ears.“Ridiculous,” Desmond muttered under his breath, pacing. His heavy boots thudded against the thick carpet, each step betraying his agitation. “Eugene thinks he can rattle me with baseless accusations? My rogues never show themselves unless I summon them. If there are wolves skulking by the borders, then they are not mine.”His gaze flicked to the map spread across the oak table. The inked lines of Blackwood’s territory seemed to pulse beneath the candlelight, the borders clear, yet suddenly blurred by suspicion. Someone else had rogues, someone else was bold enough to station them near Blackwood lands, and some

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Under His Gaze

Becca had barely thought about anything when she stormed out, her steps hard, her chest tight with frustration. She barely registered the steady figure leaning near the wall until she collided into him.Strong arms closed around her instantly, steadying her before she could stumble.“Becca.” The voice was deep, controlled, yet layered with concern. Her heart stuttered as she looked up to see Alpha Eugene. His grip was firm, almost too firm, as if he refused to let her retreat. The sharp line of his jaw caught the light, his dark eyes scanning her face with that piercing intensity that always unsettled her.Becca’s brows pinched. “Let me go,” she muttered, wriggling faintly in his hold, though not enough to truly break free.Eugene did not move. His gaze lingered, searching. “You stormed out as if fire was chasing you. What happened?”“Nothing,” Becca said quickly, her voice clipped.“Don’t lie to me.” His tone sharpened, a low command that brooked no disobedience. She pressed her l

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Pressure

The courtyard of Blackwood’s mansion held its breath. Mira’s gasp still lingered in the crisp air like the fading chime of a bell. The maids stood rooted to the spot, wide-eyed, as though they had just witnessed an omen whispered from the Moon Goddess herself.Seraphina’s hand rested elegantly against her stomach, her chin lifted in smug satisfaction. She had chosen her stage well: the open courtyard, Becca’s own maids, Mira by her side. She hadn’t simply arrived with a request. She had arrived with a performance. And Becca, caught off guard, had nearly stumbled into her trap. Her throat was dry when she finally found her voice. “Seraphina,” she said evenly, her tone carefully measured, “I am not the physician assigned to you. You should see your usual healer for such an examination.”Her gaze locked with Seraphina’s, reading the gleam in her dark eyes. There was a game being played here, and Becca was not naïve enough to believe otherwise. The maids shifted uncomfortably at her b

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Whispers of Yesterday

The sun rose gently over Blackwood, brushing the rooftops of the pack town with a soft golden glow. Morning bells chimed in the distance, summoning townsfolk to open their shops, sweep their front yards, and begin another day of ordinary life under extraordinary circumstances. Yet beneath the mundane hum of daily tasks, the people carried with them whispers of yesterday’s spectacle, Becca’s cold command, the man’s cries as he was dragged off to the prison yard, and the sharp reminder that this Luna was no longer a woman to be mocked. It was day two of the medical outreach, and the mansion’s courtyard bustled with preparation. Wooden crates filled with herbs, jars, and carefully wrapped bandages were loaded onto carts. The maids, clad in simple gray dresses, carried bundles of supplies, their chatter low but laced with curiosity.Becca emerged from the side wing of the mansion, her dark hair tied in a practical braid that trailed down her back. She wore a pale blue gown, not overly

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Rouges At the Border

The halls of the Blackwood mansion stretched endlessly, their candle-lit torches throwing long shadows across polished stone. Portraits of past Alphas, stern and watchful, loomed over every turn. The silence of the place was heavy, broken only by the echo of two pairs of boots striking against the marble floor.Alpha Eugene walked with his hands clasped behind his back, his every stride deliberate and commanding. Max, his face mirroring the stiff atmosphere, kept pace at his side. Max’s sharp eyes scanned the tapestries lining the corridor, though his mind was clearly elsewhere. His jaw tightened before he finally broke the silence.“Eugene,” Max began, his voice steady but edged with concern as he picked up his pace to keep up with his Alpha, “we’ve picked up more reports of suspicious rogue movements near the eastern border. It’s not just scattered attacks anymore. Their patterns look… organized.”Eugene’s gaze flicked toward him, brows knitting. “Organized?” His tone carried tha

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    The Intercepted Path

The streets of Blackwood’s pack town thrummed with restless energy that day. Midday light poured down in beams through the canopy of swaying trees, but the warmth of the sun could not melt the chill of unease in the air. Merchants raised their voices with forced cheer, calling out prices for fresh bread and woven cloth. Children darted in between the legs of their elders, their laughter bright but tinged with nervousness whenever a warrior in armor strode by. Even the smell of roasting meat moving from the corner stalls seemed unable to mask the metallic tang of fear that clung to the town.Everyone felt it, the storm brewing between Alphas Desmond and Eugene.Whispers traveled faster than the wind. People loyal to each Alpha sharpened their claws and their tongues alike. The people knew better than to speak openly of an internal pack war, but silence carried its own message. A strained hush lurked beneath every exchange, like a drumbeat waiting for the strike.Jack felt it most o
