The Proposition

The parking lot was quiet, the hum of Aiden’s engine the only sound echoing through the space.

The golden-orange light of the setting sun bounced off the steel of his car as he slowed to a halt in front of Lily and Maya’s dorm building.

The atmosphere between them was subdued, the tension from earlier still lingering.

Lily climbed out of the passenger side, her fingers brushing against the door frame before she shut it gently. Maya followed from the backseat, giving Aiden a grateful nod.

"You really didn’t have to drive us back," Lily said softly, peering in at him through the open window.

Aiden’s lips curved into a faint smile.

"I insisted, remember?"

She returned the smile, but her eyes dropped to the bandage just beneath the edge of his shirt sleeve.

The nurse had cleaned and dressed the scratches Ethan had inflicted during the fight. They weren’t deep, but she hated that he had to get hurt.

"Are you sure you’re okay?" Maya asked, crossing her arms and leaning closer to

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    The Prisoner

The heavy, rusted gates of the dungeon groaned open with a reluctant creak, the echoes bouncing off the stone walls like whispers of long-forgotten prisoners. The place was carved to break spirits. No soul came in here and left the same.Alpha Eugene descended the stone steps with purpose in his stride, the tension in his shoulders giving away the storm he carried within. Behind him, Max followed in silence, though his eyes burned with curiosity and calculated fury. "He’s in Cell Four," one of the guards said as they turned the corner."And he hasn’t said a word since?""Not a word, sir."Max scoffed lightly, his voice dripping sarcasm. "Then maybe he’s saving his last words for the Moon Goddess."Eugene didn’t reply. As they approached Cell Four, the stench of sweat and urine hit them. Behind the thick iron bars sat a man in torn guard uniform, bruised and bloodied. He looked like he had taken a few blows trying to resist capture. Max stepped forward, gripping the bars tightly,

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    The Sudden Intrusion

The brunch was meant to be a peaceful one. Sunlight filtered through the stained-glass panels above, splashing vibrant patterns across the marble floor of Councillor Hadrian’s grand greenhouse. Exotic flowers in full bloom filled the air with a sweet, intoxicating fragrance. Crystal glasses clinked softly as the guests sipped their drinks. The long white-clothed table was lined with fine silverware and golden platters bearing sliced fruits, buttery pastries, and steaming herbal teas. But the serenity was shattered in an instant. BANG! The greenhouse doors burst open with a violent slam that echoed like thunder. Kaelyn flinched, her eyes darting immediately to where the sound had come from. A few petals fluttered from the vines above, disturbed by the sudden gust of air that followed the intrusion. All heads turned. The tension that that filled the room when they were waiting for Kaelyn’s answer to Councillor Hadrian’s answer had seemed to be steered in another direction.

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Tension in the Greenhouse

The morning sun filtered softly through the glass ceiling of Councillor Hadrian’s grand greenhouse, casting warm, dappled light across the lavish spread laid on the long obsidian brunch table. Exotic plants lined every corner, their vibrant colors and heady scents creating a serene contrast to the tension simmering beneath every word spoken. Birds fluttered behind the glass walls, their chirps muffled beneath the weight of rising emotions. Councillor Hadrian leaned back in his ornate seat carved from ancient oak, his hands clasped over his lap as he listened, expression calm but watchful. At the side of the table, Seraphina smiled to herself now that she was finally given the opportunity to destroy Becca and Eugene's credibility without having to put in too much work. "Councillor Hadrian," she said, her voice soft yet clear, "I realize my earlier words sounded blunt, but I stand by them. The relationship between Alpha Eugene and Becca is not what it appears to be." Becca’s han

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Thorns Beneath the Vines

The gentle trickle of water from the marble fountain echoed in the greenhouse like a whisper, but it couldn’t drown out the rising tension that clung to the air like the thick scent of blooming orchids. Rays of sunlight streamed through the vast glass ceiling above, casting shifting golden patterns across the long brunch table at the heart of Councillor Hadrian’s private greenhouse. The table, ornately carved and set with polished silverware and crystal goblets, glittered with the extravagance only a man of Hadrian’s influence could afford. But even all this elegance couldn’t conceal the bristling unease seated around it. Kaelyn sat with her hands folded primly on her lap, trying not to shrink into her chair. Her golden-blonde hair fell in soft waves around her shoulders. Her eyes flicked nervously around the table as she felt the weight of every gaze pressing down on her. Opposite her sat Mira, poised and unreadable, sipping from a delicate porcelain teacup, while Becca sat

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    The Rising Tempest in the Greenhouse

The brunch in the greenhouse had begun with the sweet scent of blooming gardenias and the faint murmur of honeybees outside the tall glass walls. The long table was adorned with crystal pitchers of citrus water, fresh fruit in golden bowls, and silver trays of assorted baked goods—soft, warm, and dusted with powdered sugar. But none of that mattered now. The air had shifted. Alpha Desmond’s sharp eyes bore into Councillor Hadrian’s with incredulous disdain. Seraphina sat beside him, her hands clenched into her very expensive dress, her lips pursed into a tight, cold line. Across the table, Eugene remained a picture of composure, his back straight, shoulders relaxed, and his fingers lazily trailing the rim of his glass of red wine. Becca sat beside him, quiet, her fingers clasped politely in her lap, but her dark eyes roved over everyone at the table with sharp alertness. Hadrian sipped calmly from a porcelain teacup painted with violets. “The Blackwood Pack Wolf Council has th
