The infirmary guests

The infirmary smelled faintly of sage, dried lavender, and boiled willow bark.

Mira’s sharp eyes darted over the room like a hawk surveying her territory.

“Move the herbs closer to the window,” she ordered briskly, her voice clear and commanding.

A young maid jumped to obey, clutching a basket of mint sprigs.

“And you,” Mira pointed to another girl who was fumbling with a drawer of bandages, “don’t just shove them in, fold them properly. This isn’t some pantry; this is where lives are saved. Keep it neat.”

The infirmary hummed with activity. Maids scurried back and forth, some arranging poultices, others grinding dried roots into powder.

Mira walked through the room like she was truly in charge of everything.

Though she wasn’t the Alpha or Luna, everyone obeyed her without hesitation. Her presence simply demanded it.

She paused near the long table in the center, where a mortar and pestle sat. She picked up a bundle of valerian root, sniffed it, and frowned.

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Talks of the Crown

The sun glowed soft and golden over the pack town, casting long rays across the streets. It was a good day for a stroll, and Alpha Eugene walked with a deliberate calm, hands clasped loosely behind his back. Beside him, Councillor Hadrian, dressed in his deep emerald cloak with silver embroidery at the sleeves, kept a measured pace. Behind them, Max walked like a silent shadow, his broad shoulders squared, sharp eyes scanning every corner. Four guards fanned out discreetly, their armor gleaming faintly in the light.Though the Alpha and the Councillor walked like old friends enjoying a casual afternoon, tension simmered beneath the surface like an ember refusing to die out.“Yesterday was turbulent,” Hadrian began, his voice carrying that blend of diplomacy and irritation that only a seasoned councilor could perfect.Eugene raised a brow. “Turbulent? That’s a gentle word for it.”Hadrian chuckled humorlessly. “You might think so once you hear it. Desmond stormed into the council h

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Kissed by the Morning Sun

The first touch of dawn slipped gently into Alpha Eugene’s chamber, filtering through the tall windows and spilling across the wide bed. Her eyelids fluttered open slowly and at first, she felt heavy, her body weak, as though she had just woken from the most exhausting yet blissful dream of her life. She turned her head and blinked against the brightness, her heart still swimming in the echoes of last night. Her hand moved instinctively, brushing over the cool sheets beside her. It was empty. The bed still carried the faint, intoxicating scent of him and Becca’s lips parted, then a soft sigh escaped. For a moment, she simply sat up slowly, her hair tumbling over her shoulders, the sheets slipping slightly down her chest before she clutched them quickly around herself. And then it hit her.Floods of memories crashed into her like waves: Eugene’s hands gliding over her, the way his lips had claimed hers with such devotion, the heat of his breath, the fire in his eyes. She remembere

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Moonlit Surrender

The silver glow of the moon spilled through the tall windows of Alpha Eugene’s chamber, bathing the room in a pale radiance that seemed almost sacred.Becca stood there, wrapped in uncertainty, her bare shoulders exposed as Eugene had gently drawn the straps of her gown down. For a moment, she felt vulnerable, as though the moon itself could see through her.Eugene stepped closer, his tall frame casting shadows across the bed. His gaze never wavered, but it wasn’t predatory; it was reverent, as though he were looking upon a treasure he feared to break. He lifted his hand and cupped her cheek, thumb brushing softly against her flushed skin.“You’re beautiful,” he whispered, his voice low and steady. “So much more than you know. I want you to feel safe with me, Becca. Always.”Her lips parted, but no words came out.She wanted to speak, to tell him how exposed she felt, how uncertain she was about surrendering everything tonight, but all she could manage was a trembling breath.Sensin

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    In the Moonlight

Kaelyn shifted uncomfortably on the cold bench, her hands clasped tightly in her lap. She wasn’t sure why she had agreed to this conversation in the first place. Being in Desmond’s company, even with the moonlight softening his sharp features, always set her on edge. He was smooth, charming, dangerous—all wrapped into one man. And now Seraphina stood nearby, her presence prickling the air with tension.Desmond leaned lazily against the bench’s backrest, every inch of him exuding confidence. His dark eyes glittered as they followed Seraphina, who had stopped only a few feet away. She looked radiant, as always, her hair shining like a crown beneath the moon. Her hand rested lightly against her belly, a silent reminder to all of what she carried—the future she believed would secure Desmond’s power.Desmond pushed off the bench with grace. He strode to Seraphina, his smile devilish, his movements deliberate. Without hesitation, he slipped an arm around her waist and pulled her into a h

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Bound by Fire and Desire

The room was too quiet.Becca’s breath caught in her throat the moment the heavy oak door closed behind her, sealing her inside with him. The scent of cedarwood and iron filled the air—Alpha Eugene’s scent, commanding, masculine, suffocating. Her heart pounded against her ribs, fighting between instinct and doubt.Eugene stood by the tall window, the moonlight casting sharp silver lines across his body. His robe, black and loose, clung to his wide shoulders but gaped at the chest, leaving muscles bare and dangerous. He looked both like a warrior and a king who had nothing to hide.Becca’s fingers twisted nervously around the hem of her gown. It was a dress meant to make her look regal, desirable even. Yet she felt like prey wrapped up for the hunter’s feast. Her eyes met his, and the world seemed to shrink.“Becca,” Eugene said softly, his voice like thunder muted by distance. She swallowed, her lips parting as if to answer, but the words tangled in her throat. This wasn’t suppose
