Mandy

My eyes widened with shock as I looked back, seeing that the guards that were sent to look after me were catching up with me. My lips curled into a smirk as I increased my speed, knowing that they would not be able to catch up with me, but I was shocked to see someone in front of me.

I stopped running immediately, and a smile curled out of my face as I stared at the figure in front of me. There is no one else in front of me other than my best friend, who has been assigned to look after me since I ran away from home.

“Princess, are you alright?” I heard the voice of the guards that were sent after me, and I chuckled before turning to look at them.

“I should be asking you that; you all seem tired,” I said with a smirk, and they smiled at me.

“Mandy, why did you run away from home?" "Your parents are on my neck,” asked Victoria with raised eyebrows.

“I’m not in support of their ways of letting me find my mate." "I told them, and they won’t listen; you even supported them,” I said with a straight face.

“There is nothing wrong with their ways; they want the best for you." "They only want you to return with your mate as soon as possible,” she explained, and I groaned, knowing I was in for some lectures.

“I don’t want to listen to your lectures; all I want is a loving partner who doesn’t care about my background at all." "You all don’t seem to care about who I end up with; I don’t mind leaving my mate, but as long as the person I end up with loves me for who I am and not for my background,” I retorted while staring at her with an offended look on my face.

“I understand what you want; your parents are only worried about you." "They have decided I will come with you on your quest; they only want the best for you,” I heard her say, and my eyes lit up happily.

I was happy that my parents had finally agreed to let me do things my way. I knew that Victoria must have been the person who had persuaded them.

“Thank you so much,” I said to her, and she offered me a smile.

“I heard you have gone to a pack; how does it go?” she asked as I disengaged from the hug.

“I couldn’t find my mate, so I decided to move on; I’m going to make sure that I accept my mate regardless of who he is,” I said, and she rolled her eyes.

“What are they still doing here?" "Hope this is not some kind of plan.” I asked while staring at Victoria, like I could read through her. She shifted back uncomfortably as she heard my question.

“You don’t trust me?” she asked.

“I do, but seeing them here gives me the creeps; they could blow our cover as rogues,” I said, and they chuckled.

“They were told to watch over us from afar,” she replied, and I smiled at her.

My name is Mandy Donald, a 19-year-old lady and the princess of the werewolf kingdom. I am not known by anybody since I was brought up behind a mask; the only people who knew my identity were those that work for us. I have been trying to make my parents reason with me by telling them to let me do what I want since I don’t want to end up with someone with a different agenda.

“We should leave for the next pack now; we might be treated as slaves, and I don’t mind." "You might not be in support of that; you may leave if you don’t want to be treated like that,” I said.

“I will follow you there regardless of what you are going to do there,” she replied, and I couldn’t help but smile at her reply.

“We should leave now; we would be going to the blood moon pack,” I announced, and I saw her widen her face in shock.

“What! "We can’t go there; it was rumored that their Alpha isn’t someone to mess with; she kills rogues at first sight,” Victoria said in a scared voice, and I chuckled.

“You can leave if you don’t want to; I’m going there and you won’t stop me,” I said in a firm tone, and she chuckled.

“It’s not like anyone can talk to you about something you have set your mind on; I will follow you, my princess,” she said, and I couldn’t help but smile at her words.

“You sound more like a best friend,” I said with a smile on my face.

“We will be leaving now,” I announced to the guards, who bowed their heads.

We walked toward the direction of the pack, and with a determined look on my face, I set out to find my mate in the blood moon pack. We were soon close to the borders of the pack, and we were suddenly intercepted by ten looking mean warriors.

"Do exactly like I do, okay," I said to Victoria through the mind-link.

"Fine, but I won't hesitate to rip their throats off if they try anything funny," Victoria replied to me through the mind-link.

“Seize them,” I heard a voice say, and I knew with no doubt that the person must be the head of the warriors.

“We are rogues looking for shelter; our pack got destroyed months ago,” I said, knowing that there was no way he wouldn't be moved by my request.

“Should we kill them just like the Alpha had ordered us?” one of them asked, and I felt my breath seize for a second.

“I will mind-link the Alpha, and I will tell him about it,” the head warrior said. "I was able to breathe properly, and I was glad for that."

I knew that things wouldn't go as I wanted if they had planned on killing us; the guards that were sent to come after me were already here, and I knew that they would have killed those who wanted to kill me. I know that I won't be able to know if my mate is here because I will have no choice but to leave this place. I felt some kind of connection with the pack, and I knew with no doubt that it might be that my mate is here.

My nose jerked up as my senses get heightened as I smelt the most intoxicating smell of vanilla and chocolate. I could feel my wolf screaming happily.

"Mate," I heard my wolf shout.

Danielle My eyes were filled with anger and unwillingness as I knew that my mate had been taken away from me. I feel angry about that but there is nothing I can do about it. It turned out that all my plans had become unfruitful, and the thought alone made me want to spit out a mouthful of blood. I feel angry but I know that there is barely anything that I can do about it now and although it hurts I still wanted to make things right but I haven't had the chance yet. I used almost all my life trying to make Carlos fall for me because I am in love with him but I couldn't because of many obstacles which make me abduct his brother. I had thought that I'm at the pinnacle of being about to be with Carlos but it seems like I'm not. The higher I climb the harder I fall. I feel sad about not being able to be with him even after sacrificing all that I had. I knew that I will have to get revenge. I will only be able to rest in peace by killing Mendy. VictoriaI was angry and happy at the same time knowing that Carlos seems to have been able to recover himself from where he has lost his senses. I knew that I shouldn't talk about someplace who is going to be the future alpha of the pack like that but I knew that was the truth. I knew that he just came to his senses. His friend set him up and she also kidnapped his brother to blackmail him. He was the reason why she isn't dead yet. I knew that if it was to be left to Mendy then he would have died a long time ago. I knew without a doubt that Mendy would have killed her because she doesn't leave her enemies anytime to grow. I knew for a fact that she isn't someone who will leave her enemies any chance to make things right. She will never leave her because she can become a potential threat later, and that's why it's advisable to nip the buds when it's young. Danielle isn't someone that can change all of a sudden, and I have been living in fear all this while knowing that she is out th

Brian My eyes fluttered open and I was met with a bright light which shone directly on my face. I closed my eyes immediately to stop the light from blinding me. I opened my eyes slightly as I adjusted to my new environment with a frown on my face. I was met with a white ceiling which shone brightly as soon as I woke up. I woke up to an unfamiliar place and a confused and panic look was plastered on my face as I remembered all that has happen. I can't help but shudder slightly as I thought about being captured again. I was confused because I don't know where I am and the fact that I might have been captured by those who attacked me doesn't sit well with me. I was angry to know that I was overwhelmed by those who attacked me that day. I feel anger and hatred blooming in my heart as I stared around the place. My eyes was filled with an unwilling look on my face. I can't help but think of my mate, I knew that we haven't made up yet. We are still angry with ourselves that we failed to
