Avery's POV

“Damn it!” My body trembled with fear, my body still reeling from the shock of Alpha Red's sudden departure. Although I was scared, I was also relieved that he had left my room. My heart was still pounding in my chest, and I could feel the heat of his touch lingering on my skin.

I couldn't shake the memory of his lips on my neck, the way his breath had sent shivers down my spine. And the way he had touched me between my legs… I felt a wave of disgust wash over me, but at the same time, my body seemed to be on fire.
