LOGINAdrian’s POV
My smirk is dangerous and filled with content at my win. I have successfully crawled underneath her skin. “Don’t you fucking dare!” She screeched, trying unsuccessfully to pull free from her bounds. “Oh,” I mock gasped, my head tilting with a fake pout, “but I would dare. Who is going to stop me? You?” Inching closer, I make sure that the snare in my gaze is blazing and obvious, “I’d advise you don’t run your mouth about my wife and I.” I pulled back, “…else, you would come to find that I would do much worse to those that cross me.” She shift uncomfortably, the previous gleaming arrogant smirk now long gone. The smile on my face returns with full force, I was filled with joy. One down, few more to go. Emily looks up weakly, finally defeated. “Why are you doing all these? What did we ever do to you?” “Why?” I cocked my head. Wondering if she deserved to know, or if she already knew and was feigning ignorance. “Hmmm… let’s see” “One will be because you dare to cause my wife distress, two would be because you dared to object at our wedding, nearly ending it. Three..,” I stop pacing, “I guess you’ll have to ask you father about that but now I’m wondering. Did you also know?” Her face contours into what I’d assume was confusion, “know about what? What do you mean?” “Hmm. You have no idea do you? Then well it’s best if you don’t.” My smile was sardonic, as I move to leave, “Enjoy the rest of your time here then.” “Wait,” she screeches, “What? You can’t leave me here, let me go.” “Your father is yet to agree to my terms. Once he does, you’ll be free to go.” Her face depicts pure panic, “But I…I..” I cut her off, sharp. “No buts.” Emily screamed, I watched Emily’s face twist with pure fury as she spat, “You’ll pay for this you asshole!” Her tone filled with venom, “I’ll make sure of it!” A slow, smug smile tugged at my lips. I leaned back slightly, taking my time as I looked her up and down with calm disdain. “Oh, look at you,” I said, my voice dripping with mockery. “Even if I could afford it—and trust me, as the rich *bastard* I am, I certainly can—I wouldn’t pay a single damn cent.” My tone sharpened. “But for you and your family however, you’ll be the one paying until your soul bleeds for every single grievance your family has caused Brianna.” She opened her mouth to snap back, but I saw the hesitation flicker across her face. “you really do like her, Uh?” She asks, her expression slightly softened as he observed me. “Like?” I let out a low, incredulous chuckle. “Like? I love her. She’s my wife. My forever.” My voice dropped, steady and absolute. “I will make sure she has a beautiful, stress-free life ahead of her, and I wouldn’t hesitate to take out anyone in the way of that.” That shut her up. The color drained from her cheeks as the weight of my words hit her. I straightened and turned toward the door, done with this conversation. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I better get back to my wife. I wouldn’t want to keep her waiting alone in a cold bed.” I paused at the threshold, glancing back at her with a sharp, knowing smile. “You would know all about that, wouldn’t you?” The jab landed hard. I saw the flash of humiliation in her eyes—the memory of that night clearly resurfacing. The night her so-called lover had run away with her, only to leave her abandoned in an empty bed after stealing everything she owned. I didn’t wait for a reply. I gave her one last dismissive look and walked out, the echo of my footsteps the only sound remaining in the room. ~~~~~~~~~~~ I got back home in no time, headed straight for my wife. She was laid softly on the bed, her small figure sleeping soundly. My heart warmed in my chest. Taking off my clothing, I went to take a a cold shower, wash myself clean of everything I’d done tonight. I return to her side, taking in her sleeping figure. I rub gently at her brows, loosening the crease. She melts into my touch, visibly relaxing as I now stroked her hair. Her hands peeked from underneath the blanket revealing her wedding band and the sight just sends a rush of excitement through me. My smile is easy as I appraised it. It fit her perfectly. With a gently kiss to her temple, I slid right into bed. I badly want to hold her to sleep but I fear that would be moving too fast. “Goodnight, mi amor.”Adrian’s POVI was barely holding on. I was filled to the brim, my heart thumping beneath my chest in a wild erratic symphony. My hands roamed my wife’s body, her sweet little sounds driving me wild with need. I tried to hold myself, to control myself, to pace myself. I couldn’t though. She drove me utterly mad, her eyes were filled with a need almost similar to mine. Her body, a whimpering mess under my hands that explored without restraint. I press my lips against hers again, loving the way she moaned softly against me, her back arching in response. It pleased me to know she also felt what I felt even though min was more maddening. Her sweet scent enveloped me, casing my brain along with it. I was a goner for sure. My dick ached painfully in my pants, straining and waiting to be freed. I could tear through her clothes right now, take her right here and right now. Damning the other frivolities. But I couldn’t.With my wife I had to be careful, I had to treat her with gentle care a
Brianna’s POVHe sat on the bed, his brows drawn in confusion at my silence. I don’t move, I don’t answer to him, I’m just fixed at my spot arms length away from him. His eyes held an expression akin to pity, puppy eyes were fixed on me. I don’t let it affect me, at least I tried not to let it. Unsuccessfully though. In the blink of an eye, Adrian pulls me down to his laps. I startle, a bit shocked by the sudden movement. My ass propped on his laps immediately.I don’t have much time to recover before his hands finds my neck, tilting me closer and then…He kissed me, my eyes fluttered in shock, watching his close in front of me. I remain still, my brain scrambling to form words. To react. To do anything. But I don’t, I can’t.I space out. No inner monologue, no panic, no fear. The only thing functioning in my system was my loudly beating heart. My tummy pulls with an uncontrollable force at the touch of his lips, my eyes fluttering close even as I will it back open. I melt into the
Brianna’s POV“Baby..” he starts, but I don’t let him finish. “No,” I snapped, for the first time I felt a consuming feeling of anger. “Tell me, what did you do? Do you have anything to do with why they’re not responding to me?”“My love,” I shake my head, stepping backwards, my eyes darting away from him.“No…No….”“Baby,” he states sharply, his hands cling to grip me by my arms, steadily, keeping me from drifting too far. I couldn’t help but look at his face. He looked like he was scared. Why?“Your parents are safe. They are fine.” He averts his gaze, like he still had something he was holding back. “But…”I followed his eyes, staring right at him like his face held the answers. “But what?” Panic floods through me at that hesitation. “I may or may not have your sister locked up somewhere for interrupting our wedding.”“What?” I spluttered, the word barely making it past my lips as I instinctively took a step back from him.A cold wave of fear washed through me, sharp and immediat
My eyes flutter open, adjusting gently to the stream or light that flickered into the room through the small gap in the blinds. I squint, a small groan escapes me.But then I suddenly feel the presence of a strong pair of hands holding my body fm with possession.I smell him before I see him, his musky clean scent enveloping me in a warm embrace. My heart stutters at the sight of arms wrapped tightly across my body. His hold strong and possessive. How did I even get so deep in his embrace? When did he even get home?I was not a light sleeper by any means but I should have felt his presence on the bed. I was out cold. The last thing I remembered vividly before tilting to the sleep pulling me was my fathers number being unresponsive, along with every one of my siblings and parent. I had no idea when he came into the room or when we entangled so much into each other. I only remember the ghost of a finger tracing my skin. Was it a dream or did was he the one?The face remained blurred

Adrian’s POV It pains me to have to leave my wife back at home. It felt like I was being detached from my other half, like Velcro strips. A part of me wants to return back, hug her, kiss her and make sure she doesn’t feel as distressed as she was about her family. I couldn’t do that though, I had to handle business, settle scores, that is her family and their transgressions. Tonight being the most important night for us. Our wedding night. I should have her held against me with a long embrace, inhaling her scent with my hands in her beautiful and soft hair. But someone decided to cause trouble and with my wife being bothered and restless, there was no way she would relax enough for us to have a beautiful night rest. And so, I had to drag myself out the house. Barrett appears from the corner of the house as I stepped into the cool of the evening. The guests were now long gone. I’d told the staffs to clear everyone out once my wife and I left. “Sir, she is now at the back
