Adrian’s POV

I was barely holding on. I was filled to the brim, my heart thumping beneath my chest in a wild erratic symphony.

My hands roamed my wife’s body, her sweet little sounds driving me wild with need. I tried to hold myself, to control myself, to pace myself. I couldn’t though.

She drove me utterly mad, her eyes were filled with a need almost similar to mine. Her body, a whimpering mess under my hands that explored without restraint.

I press my lips against hers again, loving the way she moaned softly against me, her back arching in response. It pleased me to know she also felt what I felt even though min was more maddening.

Her sweet scent enveloped me, casing my brain along with it. I was a goner for sure. My dick ached painfully in my pants, straining and waiting to be freed.

I could tear through her clothes right now, take her right here and right now. Damning the other frivolities. But I couldn’t.

With my wife I had to be careful, I had to treat her with gentle care and attention. If I rushed this, no matter how good it felt, I could lose her in the end.

I had so many things I haven’t told her yet. So many secrets, way past the issue with her family.

The lies I had told her weighed heavy on my mind. If she were ever to find out and decided not to forgive me or even asks to leave. I might as well die.

As though she sensed my hesitation, she pulled back, her lips leaving mine. Her eyes searched mine with worry, and my heart sank.

“Why…what’s wrong?”

“Am….. am I not doing it right?” She whispered low, underneath her breath, her brows furrowed slightly in concern.

What? Why the hell would she think that?

“What?,” I gawked, staring wide eyed at her. “Why would you say that? You’re perfect.”

“But you stopped. You looked like you were hesitating.”

“I’m not. I swear to God, I’m not. Don’t you feel it? How crazy I am about you—how obsessed I am. At the very least, you should feel how my body reacts to yours.”

A soft gasp left her as she finally noticed the way my hardened length pressed against her thigh.

“Do you feel that?” I asked softly, my hand brushing her hair away from her face.

Her breath hitched, a soft little sound that went straight to my cock. Her eyes widened, dark and glassy with surprise and something hotter—heat, maybe, mixed with that same hunger I was drowning in.

“I… I feel it,” she whispered, her voice trembling just a little. Her thigh shifted instinctively against me, pressing closer, and the friction made me groan low in my throat. “It’s… big.”

A rough laugh escaped me before I could stop it. “Yeah? That’s all you, baby. You do this to me. Every damn time I look at you. You’re perfect. I just don’t want to hurt you, Okay?”

Her cheeks flushed deeper, that pretty rose color spreading down her neck. She bit her lower lip, still hesitant. She was so perfect and innocent, I want to keep her this way forever. I love this adorable woman.

I’d sooner ram my head against the wall than hurt her in any way.

I peppered kisses across her face, unable to stop myself. Her hand flew to wrap around my neck, pulling me closer—the same way she had me wrapped around her finger without even realizing it.

I could feel the firm press of her nipples through her shirt, straining against the fabric as her body pressed into mine.

The need to tear the shirt off her and take one peaked nub into my mouth hold tight against my throat, choking. I had to take it easy, before I scared her off.

Needing to pace myself, I flipped her gently until she was straddling my waist, her knees bracing me in place. She let out a soft gasp at the sudden flip. A warm red flushing her cheeks in a deep blush.

She tried to look away, her gaze turning sharply from mine, suddenly shy now the soft bedside light caught every inch of her expression, making her flush even more obvious.

“Look at me, baby,” I murmured, my grip tightening slightly on her hips. “Don’t hide from me now.”

The way she sat on my waist had every ounce of my restraint hanging by a thread, her body pressed so perfectly against mine. My hands dug into her hips, holding her there, grounding myself.

I was holding back so much I might as well become a monk.

“Okay,” she whispered, shifting slightly to sit comfortably. The movement just makes my suffering worse. She now sat o my hardening dickz making it even harder for me.

“Okay, baby, don’t move anymore. You’re killing me.”

Her expression changes slightly, she took it literally. “What? What did I do?”

“No no you’re fine. Just… just don’t move… please.”

“O—“

Just before she could land her response, a ring jolted us back, cutting through the thickening sexual tension in the room. My phone screen flashed from the bedside table.

Both our gaze cuts to it as it continued to ring incessantly.

I let out a frustrated groan, dropping my arm on my forehead as the phone continued to ring like it had a personal vendetta against me.

She let out the softest laugh, breathless and shy, her fingers brushing against my chest. “You should probably get that.”

“I should probably throw it across the room,” I muttered, making her laugh again.

Reluctantly, I reached over, grabbing the phone without letting go of her waist. My expression darkened the second I saw the caller ID.

Barrett.

It better be damn important.

I answered with a sharp, “What?”

His voice came through immediately, tense enough to make the warmth in the room vanish.

“Sir… we have a problem.”

Every muscle in my body tightened. Brianna noticed it instantly, her smile fading as she searched my face. “What happened?”

I sat up straighter, my hand still resting on her hip. “Hold on baby,” I mouthed.

Barrett exhaled on the other end. “Your father in law is here., and he is causing a disturbance.”

My gaze cuts to Brianna, hoping she didn’t catch that. Her eyes search my face like they’d display the answers she needed. Her brows pulled into a small frown.

I force out a small smile to calm her down. I brush my hands across her brows to smooth it out.

“Let him in. I’ll be right down.”

Do you have anything to do with why they’re not responding to me?”“My love,” I shake my head, stepping backwards, my eyes darting away from him.“No…No….”“Baby,” he states sharply, his hands cling to grip me by my arms, steadily, keeping me from drifting too far. I couldn’t help but look at his face. He looked like he was scared. Why?“Your parents are safe. My eyes flutter open, adjusting gently to the stream or light that flickered into the room through the small gap in the blinds. I squint, a small groan escapes me.But then I suddenly feel the presence of a strong pair of hands holding my body fm with possession.I smell him before I see him, his musky clean scent enveloping me in a warm embrace. My heart stutters at the sight of arms wrapped tightly across my body. His hold strong and possessive. How did I even get so deep in his embrace? When did he even get home?I was not a light sleeper by any means but I should have felt his presence on the bed. I was out cold. The last thing I remembered vividly before tilting to the sleep pulling me was my fathers number being unresponsive, along with every one of my siblings and parent. I had no idea when he came into the room or when we entangled so much into each other. I only remember the ghost of a finger tracing my skin. Was it a dream or did was he the one?The face remained blurred

I have successfully crawled underneath her skin. “Don’t you fucking dare!” She screeched, trying unsuccessfully to pull free from her bounds.“Oh,” I mock gasped, my head tilting with a fake pout, “but I would dare. Who is going to stop me? You?”Inching closer, I make sure that the snare in my gaze is blazing and obvious, “I’d advise you don’t run your mouth about my wife and I.” I pulled back, “…else, you would come to find that I would do much worse to those that cross me.”She shift uncomfortably, the previous gleaming arrogant smirk now long gone. The smile on my face returns with full force, I was filled with joy. One down, few more to go.Emily looks up weakly, finally defeated. “Why are you doing all these? What did we ever do to you?”“Why?” I cocked my head. Wondering if she deserved to know, or if she already knew and was feigning ignorance. “Hmmm… let’s see”“One will be because you dare to cause my wi
