Sophia’s hands trembled as she slowly removed her expensive clothes, the same clothes that had represented her status only hours ago.

With every piece she removed, she felt like she was losing another piece of the life she once controlled.

When she finished, she stood there in silence, her arms wrapped around herself as she tried to hide her discomfort.

Officer Briggs stepped forward. “Turn around.”

Sophia closed her eyes for a moment before doing what she was told.

“Lift your arms.”
