Arya flinched at a spot when she heard the familiar voice behind her—the voice she hadn't heard for months. She had thought she might have disappeared since she didn't bump into her earlier

She turned to see Alice's stern look boring to her. Alice hadn't changed a bit; she was still the same as when Arya left. The same size and same color of hair.

Arya squeezed her shaking hand into a ball, hiding it behind her back. She didn't want Alice to notice her nervousness. Arya should be angry at her, ready to take her revenge, which caused her heart rate to increase until she could hear it pounding in her ears.

She still felt scared of Alice, even after so many months had passed.

Arya wondered if her return to the pack was a blessing or if it would stir up more trouble for her. The voice in her subconscious that usually warned her of impending danger was silent. Now it was just her and her pup, who never ceased kicking in her stomach.
