Ariana leaned against the Jet window, her eyes shining. “Oh my God, Daniel, the Maldives looks so beautiful from up here.”

“Yes, baby,” Daniel said softly, kissing her on the cheek. “And just wait until you see it in person.”

The flight attendant, Aria, walked over with a polite smile. “We’ll be landing in about five minutes. Please fasten your seatbelt.”

Ariana pushed at Daniel’s chest with a little laugh. “Ouch Daniel, get up. I need to get properly dressed before we arrive. I don’t want to step off looking unprepared.”

Daniel moved aside, chuckling. “Alright, alright. Go ahead, princess.”

She fixed her hair and straightened her outfit, then turned to him. “We’re staying at the lake house, right?”

“Yes, dear,” Daniel replied, his tone warm and confident. “I already called my butler. Everything’s arranged for us.”

Ariana smiled, excitement dancing in her eyes. “Perfect. This feels like a dream already.”

Daniel reached for her hand. “And it’s only just beginning.”

“Damien, what are you doing here?”Damien froze, his jaw tight. “That’s the question I should be asking you, Katherina.”From the corner, Miguel chuckled, his deep laugh echoing in the warehouse. “Oh, this is about to get interesting.” He looked at Damien with a mocking smirk. “Why don’t you tell your lovely wife why you’re creeping around here at this ungodly hour?”Katherina stepped into the dim light. Her baby bump was obvious as she moved carefully, lowering herself onto the edge of the table with a small groan her swollen legs making every step heavy. But then her eyes darted to the floor. Her hand flew to her mouth.“Oh my God… who the hell is that lying there?”Miguel smirked. “Oops. That’s what your husband here was so desperate about.”Katherina’s head turned toward Damien, face burning with rage.“What the hell, Damien?!” she shouted, her voice trembling with both fury and hurt. “Are you cheating on me with her?”Damien stiffened, his jaw tight, but he didn’t answer right aw

  • The Revenge Of The Betrayed Bride   The Warehouse Showdown

The warehouse door groaned as Alicia Torres pushed it open. She slipped inside, her heels clicking lightly on the concrete, the sound echoing in the wide, empty space. She pressed her palm to her back, feeling the cold grip of the small pistol tucked into her waistband. Her lips curled into a thin smile. What does a cleaner know about guns? she thought. Enough to survive tonight. Two armed bodyguards followed her Louis and Kernel, the men she’d just hired. They weren’t cheap, but protection never was. And tonight, she needed protection more than ever.Louis scanned the corners, his broad shoulders tense, a hand already on his weapon. “This place is too quiet,” he muttered. “Feels wrong.”Kernel gave a dry laugh, adjusting his coat as he walked beside Alicia. “Every deal feels wrong. That’s why you brought us. Right, boss?”“Exactly,” Alicia said smoothly, “Damien Blackwood isn’t meeting me because he wants to. He’s coming because he has no choice.”She walked to the middle of the war

Okay, you said your name is Alicia Torres, but I don’t know any Alicia Torres. Information about what? Do you even know who you’re talking to?” the stranger asked calmly.“Yes, I do,” Alicia replied smoothly. “I’m talking to Damien Blackwood, aren’t I?”“Yes, you are,” Damien said after a pause. “So what information do you have?”“That,” Alicia said firmly, “I can’t tell you over the phone. I suggest we meet 11th Wallace Street. Your map will guide you. And don’t be late. Oh, and bring a briefcase full of cash.”“Cash? Why?” Damien’s voice sharpened in disbelief.Alicia laughed coldly. “Do you think I’d just give away what I know for free? Please, don’t make me laugh. I’m not doing charity work here. What I have is big. Think about it what if you found out you’d been lied to for years?”Damien was silent, then said slowly, “Alright. I’m getting the picture. Name your price.”“Ten million,” Alicia said without hesitation. “That’s what the truth costs.”“Ten million?” Damien snapped. “D

Ariana stepped outside, adjusting her sunglasses. A tall man in a sleek black suit approached, giving a polite nod.“Good morning, Miss Ariana,” he said in a crisp voice.Ariana raised an eyebrow. “And you are?”“I’m Daniel Blackwood’s chauffeur,” he replied smoothly. “I’m here to take you to the private jet.”Ariana blinked, surprised. “Private jet? Funny, Daniel forgot to mention that part.”The chauffeur allowed himself a small smile. “It was meant to be a surprise.”Ariana smirked. “Well, I do love surprises. Alright then, let’s go.”He opened the car door for her, and she slid in with a satisfied sigh. As the car pulled away, she quickly dialed Amelia. Her best friend picked up on the second ring.“Uhh, duh, why didn’t you answer on the first ring?” Ariana teased.Amelia’s voice came through, warm and light. “I was helping Miguel sort out some of his clothes. You know housewife duties.”Ariana rolled her eyes playfully. “Ohhh, the lovable wife routine. Anyway, guess where I’m off

Her lips trembled as she whispered, “Disappear? You mean… kill me?”Miguel leaned back, his eyes cold but calm. He shook his head slowly, almost like he pitied her.“If I wanted you dead, Janet, you’d already be at the bottom of the river by now. No.” His voice dropped to a chilling calm. “I’m giving you something people would kill for. A way out. Two million dollars wired clean into an account. And a brand new passport. A whole new identity. You can vanish and start over somewhere far away. Think about it a life you never even dreamed of, bought with your silence.”Janet let out a nervous laugh, though it cracked halfway. “But… but you just said ‘six feet under.’ By my definition, that means you were planning to kill me.”Miguel leaned forward, his hand gripping the knife still stuck in the chair. He tugged it free with a sharp scrape of metal against wood. His voice was low, deadly calm.“Don’t confuse a warning with a promise. I give people choices, Janet. Most don’t get that luxur
