The Other Side Of Neon.

The evening was approaching rapidly, cars honking as the street became busier than ever while everyone tried to get home early.

SStreetlightswere already on as the streets of the city glowed like the stars of the galaxy, shimmering brightly to help people find their way home.

"Honk!"

Maura, no Drusilla hears the sound of Neon's car honking severally at the gate.

She sits in the living room watching him suffer through the CCTV footage and sips wine.

His access to his home has been denied three times, and if he fails it again it'll send out a call for help to the police.

He takes out his phone and dials the landline.

It rings, she picks up and he starts explaining.

"Hello, Maura, I think something's wrong with the gate code," he says. "I can't get in, my access is being denied, can you see if it's possible to get me in from the inside?"

But there's no answer, just the sound of breathing before she hangs up.
