Chapter 11: Turning an old bowl into an antique.

"Hey! Andrew, what do you have in your hand? Is it a birthday gift?"

Mike looked at the box in my hand.

"Everyone, look, there seems to be a fast delivery invoice sticker on the box!" A customer exclaimed.

"Fast delivery?"

Mike acted as if he had discovered something new and said, "Did you buy the gift online?"

"He couldn't afford to buy a gift. So, of course, he had to buy it online," Mrs. Laelia mocked.

"That's right!" Mike chuckled and nodded.

"You're right, I bought a gift."

Seeing them looking down on me like that, I decided to give the antique bowl in my hand to Mr. Kurt Thompson to make those who looked down on me feel ashamed.

"Did you really buy a birthday gift online?" Emma frowned unhappily and glanced at me, asking softly.

"Yes!" I nodded seriously.

"I told you that I would prepare a gift, so why did you ruin it?" Emma blamed me.
