Axel's Point Of View.

“How is it going with the search party, Felix?” I asked my Beta as soon as we walked out of King Zach's Pack. He'd called me earlier today to finalise some deals that we made during the Alpha's Summit. He'd made me know that the deal was meant for both Alpha Zade and I, but he, Zade, rejected it because he learnt that I'll be a part of it.

The motherfucker still didn't want to let go of everything that has happened in the past. He'd even told me a few hours before departing from the Royal City that he'd come for me when the time was right.

And somehow, that sent a wave of fear through me. Among every other Alphas, Zade was the most powerful and of course the scariest, but I waved that little tinge of fear off. If he wanted to kill me, I'm sure he'd have done it right away, not stalling for some useless reason.
