Melissa's Point Of View

“I am still mad at you, mother.” I grumbled when I saw my mother cradling my son in her arms, staring at him with nothing but love and warmth in her eyes.

That heavenly scene alone was enough to make me forgive her and let go of my anger, but it didn't. She wasn't here when I was in this damn ward, fighting for my life, doing everything possible to birth my son. She wasn't here when I brought my son to this world, even though we'd both planned that she'll be there when I give birth to my child.

“Oh, come on, baby girl.” She sighed as she turned her gaze to me. “I already apologized to you and I thought you'd forgiven me already.” She added, but I shook my head.

“How could I forgive you, mother?” I scoffed loudly in annoyance. “You weren't here with me. You weren't here to console me, to support me while I birth your grandchild. You didn't keep your promise of being there as I gave birth to my child. So tell me, how could you expect me to forgive you?”

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   A GREAT DAY

Axel's Point Of View “My Alpha.” Felix announced as he walked into my study. And I raised my head from the files on the table to stare at him. “What is it?” I asked him, silently hoping that it wasn't those rogues again. The past couple of days, I've been trying so hard to curb the issue with the rogues, to make sure it doesn't get out of hand, but it seems to be getting hard. Somehow I find it strange that rogues would suddenly attack my pack, especially after I've made sure that it never happened. For a long time, we haven't been attacked by rogues. Our Pack has been peaceful all those times, but all of a sudden, we keep getting some attacks on the Pack and it was really bothersome. I'd tried not to think about it, but no matter how I tried, it didn't seem to work. Well, as an Alpha, it was my duty to protect my people and I've done everything that I could. I just hope it works out now. “It's the doctor.” He responded. “Doctor Alistair. He brought the DNA test already.

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   IT'S BEEN SEALED

Princess Lara's Point Of View “Greetings, your Majesty.” I watched as Dexter bowed before the King and he just nodded his head. Dexter took his eyes to me. “And greetings to you, my Princess.” He greeted me, but I couldn't respond. It was as if I was tongue-tied. What the hell is going on? I couldn't understand. I was still trying to place my hand around this. “I stand here, before you, your Majesty, to announce my interest in your daughter, the Princess.” He spoke up and I shot him a harsh glare. But he pretended not to notice it. Stupid bastard. How could he stand there and announce his stupid interest in me after trashing my heart into pieces. Has he no shame? In fact, how did he suddenly become a Prince overnight? Was this not the same man that had been a poor and homeless Omega? Unless he wasn't. Unless he's been pretending to be poor and homeless! “Or perhaps he did it to become close to you?” Lyra suggested and I scoffed loudly in annoyance. “To become close to me?” I

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   DEXTER LAMARCK

Princess Lara's Point Of View I couldn't believe my ears. No. I didn't want to believe what I just heard. The wedding has been cancelled? But why? Why did he suddenly change his mind? Didn't he say he never goes back on his words? Why then was he going back on his words now? “Shouldn't you be happy that he's suddenly changing his mind, huh?” Lyra's voice boomed through my head and I just rolled my eyes. “Of course, bitch. I'm happy that he changed his mind. But I'm just surprised that he'll suddenly do it. I mean, that was an agreement with Alpha Zade.” I paused, but continued almost immediately. “What do you think Alpha Zade would do if he ever comes to know that my father was changing his mind?” “Come on silly, I think the question should be why he changed his mind. Could Alpha Zade be threatening him? You know how intimidating that huge man can be.” Of course I do. I don't need a soothsayer to tell me. Just like his late father, Alpha Zade is feared all over the twelve Pa

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   THE WEDDING HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Princess Lara's Point Of View “Why are you suddenly releasing Morana from the dungeon?” I asked my father as soon as I got to his chambers. As usual, I'd gone to the dungeon to tease her like I always do, but I didn't meet her there and when I asked the guards about her whereabouts, I was told that my father had ordered her release. Why on earth would he do that? Isn't she supposed to spend the rest of her life in the cold dungeon, paying for her sins and that of Kendrick's? At first my father didn't answer. He didn't even act like he saw me or noticed my presence, but when I cleared my throat to get his attention, he finally raised his head from the scroll before him, and stared at me. “What were you saying?” He inquired and I had to bite the urge of yelling at him. I was supposed to be used to his obnoxious attitude. He's always been this way. I took a deep breath before answering. I wanted to clear my head, just so I wouldn't yell at him, because there was every tendency th

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   A RARE GEM

Lenora's Point Of View “Oh my goodness!” Luna Ophelia cooed as soon as we walked into the house. She quickly rose up from the couch as she came to hug me. “You're back.” She added as she pulled me into her arms. My lips tugged into a smile. Heaven knows how much I've missed this woman. “Yes, mother.” I responded and wrapped my arms around her. “How have you been?” “I've been good.” “And trust you had a great time over there?” “Of course I did, mother.” I nodded and quickly made way for her to greet her son too. And she did, although she didn't spend time with him. She pushed him away and came back to me. I knew she was seeing her daughter in me. She sees me as the daughter she never had. And boy, I have no problem with that. After all, I saw her as my mother too. “Tell me everything, my child.” She giggled as she took my hands in hers and led me towards the couch. “How your day went, your honeymoon, the amount of fun you had.” Before I could help it, a deep shade of blush

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   I DON'T WANT TO DIE

Melissa's Point Of View “You won't believe what I just heard, my Luna.” Laura whispered as soon as she walked into my room. I'm back at the Pack House. I didn't want to spend any more time at the hospital anymore. I was tired of seeing those boring white walls and the faces of those nurses. I've always hated everything about a hospital after all. Now that we were back to the Pack House, a lot of people had tried to come see me and the new Pack's heir, but I'd pleaded with Axel to keep them away for now. I need to rest for a while at least. After all, it's not easy to push a baby out of your body and still have people flooding in to meet you. It'll be tiring. Plus I don't think I can handle them. “What is it again, Laura?” I rolled my eyes , indirectly letting her know that I wasn't really in the mood for any gossip. Honestly I just want to rest for now. Nothing else, but it seems like fate has other plans, because here Laura was, standing before me, looking like she'd run a th
