Lenora's POV

“Unbelievable!” I let out a small laugh. “This is totally unbelievable, Derek! How could you kill her? What has she done to deserve all of that, huh?”

“I wanted Charlotte Morgan, but she turned me down. Therefore I did what I know best. I ended…..” Before he could finish his statement, my hands collided with his face. He looked stunned, but who cares?

“You fool.” I hissed in annoyance, especially at how he sounded so plain. One would have thought that he was talking about a casual topic like the weather.

“You are such a murderer. How could you do that to an innocent girl? When a woman rejects you, you have no right to force yourself on her. You have no right to become aggressive with her just because she rejects you. Get that into your head!”

“No!” He shook his head. “A woman has no right to reject a man's advances. If she rejects us, we are free to do whatever we want with her and that's exactly what I did.”

I let out a loud scoff. “I’ve always thought that you

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   MAKE HER LIFE MISERABLE

Talia's POV “What is this information about?” Zade asked as he stared at me with a look of anger. Or should I say irritation and disapproval? I guess he wasn't expecting me to come here. Anyways, whether he was expecting me or not, he has to deal with it. It is either today or never. I took a deep breath before starting. “Can I come in? It is one that I..” He didn't say anything. He just turned back into the room. Well, I caught the hint and walked behind him. He was a man of few words after all. “Speak!” He snarled in what I could describe as anger or maybe annoyance. “I don't have all day. Therefore don't you dare waste my time.” He added and I mentally rolled my eyes. If I want to get a little time with him, then I have to be patient. I have to deal with his arrogance. “Can you ask your Beta to leave, please?” I asked as I tilted my head towards Karl's direction. I have a feeling that if he was here, I wouldn't be able to do what I have planned to do. “You need to be ca

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   DON'T LET HER FOOL YOU

Zade's POV Now I was currently leaning on the rails of the balcony as I sipped the wine in my hands. Colton had left moments ago, retreating to his room under the guise of unfinished business. But we both knew the truth; some conversations were too heavy to carry for long. Now, it was just me. The silence. The next minute, I heard the front door opening and I needed no soothsayer to tell me that it was my Beta. He was the only one who would dare come into my room without knocking. I didn't bother to go meet him as I expected him to come meet me here and he did. “My Alpha.” He called out and I quickly let him know that I was at the balcony and he came to meet me. “What is it?” I asked without turning to face him. “I came to let you know that the suppliers from The Volt Pack have brought the goods into the Pack. They are currently waiting in the Warehouse.” He announced and I nodded slowly. “Ask Peters to let them in.” I said to him, my eyes still fixed on the ground bel

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   HIS FEARS

Zade's Point Of View “You don't have to keep reminding me of the wedding, Colton. It's not like I've forgotten about the wedding.” I let out a sharp scoff. The fact that he keeps reminding me about the wedding doesn't sit well with me for heaven's sake. “I knew that you didn't forget about it, Zade, I was only trying to….” “Fine.” I cut him off. “I get it. And I want to let you know that I haven't forgotten about it, okay?” He gave a slow nod, his gaze never leaving mine. "The wedding will happen as soon as this meeting ends, the moment we step back into our Packs. What do you say about it?” My pulse spiked at his words. "The full moon hasn’t even risen yet," I countered, my voice sharper than I intended. "We’re not doing this until after the full moon." A look of frustration crossed his face before he smoothed it away. "I know," he admitted, exhaling roughly. "But why wait? There’s no reason to drag it out.""There’s every reason," I shot back, my fingers curling into fis

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   MY MOTHER HATES HIM

Melissa's Point Of View I watched the time on my phone for the umpteenth time today. It was thirty minutes past seven and my mother wasn't back yet from wherever she went. Plus her phone wasn't going through. I haven't been able to reach her. I haven't been able to reach her through the mind link either. I was fucking worried about her. She wouldn't just leave like that. If I hadn't gone to her room earlier, I wouldn't have noticed that she was nowhere to be found. And according to the maids, none of them had seen her leave. Not even Laura. That was really strange because my mother would never leave the house without letting me know where she was going. The sound of someone knocking pulled me out of my thoughts and when I took my eyes to the door, I realised that it was Laura. “Can I come in, please?” She asked. One thing I loved about Laura was her ability to respect my decision and my privacy. She never crosses her boundaries with me even though we were more than best frien

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   I AM YOURS NOW

Damien's POV “Yeah.” She nodded as she got down from the bed. “I'll call Damon to come get me as it's late already.” My eyes flicked to the old grandfather clock which was hung on the wall. It was a few minutes past five in the evening. She got down from the bed, put on her clothes. “Be sure to come back to the Pack House as soon as possible, Damien, else Axel will have your head. You know how he can be.” Those were the words she said to me before she walked out of my house. A faint smile tugged at my lips as I recalled the concern in her voice when she asked me to come back to the Pack. I can't believe that she was worried for me. “Or maybe she wasn't.” My wolf cut in and I rolled my eyes. Not long after she left, Matilda appeared from the closet and plunged down on the bed like she owned it. “Is she really gone?” She inquired, her eyes locked on mine and I nodded slowly. “Thank goodness!” She giggled softly. “I was beginning to think that she wouldn't leave today.” She ad

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   WE DON'T HAVE TO WAIT

Princess Lara's Point Of View “Just wow!” I scoffed loudly in annoyance. Morana hosted a council meeting just to discuss how to dethrone the King? In his fucking absence? And not just that. She even had the effrontery to call such a meeting in the Palace. She really has some nerves. “How sure is this information, Baron?” I asked him. I knew he wouldn't just lie about something like this, but I needed to make sure that he was telling the truth. I needed to make sure that it wasn't just fabricated information. "I can assure you, my princess. This is nothing but the truth. I attended the meeting as well," he whispered quietly. "If you’d like proof, I can share some of the recordings with you.” What a smart ass! He had even recorded their words. I guess he must have expected that I won't believe him easily. When I nodded at him, he fished out his phone and I waited patiently for the recording that he was referring to. He played it: “Good day to you all, elders. I'm sure you all
