Chapter 39: The First Piece of Memory

Hana hurried back away; when she felt the distance between her and the Giant was safe, Hana hissed, "Zeci, you said they would take us back. Is this coming back? They want to catch us."

All the furniture in the room was knocked to the floor by the Giant person. Hana quickly hid in the corner of the cabinet. The Giant who couldn't find her was angry. She flipped every nook and cranny of the house, poured every bottle of water out, and couldn't find it. Hana moved closer to the door, but Zeci was trapped under the table. Its fat body can't crawl fast. Hana was so angry that she wanted to leave Zeci here and leave alone.

"Hurry up, Zeci," Hana gestured to Zeci.

The Giant looked out the door and quickly reached out its hand to slam the door shut. The broom knows where Hana and Zeci are, but it's just tasted Worn's pain, so it knows how scary Hana is.
