I had been crying all day. Even after assuring my grandmother that I was going to be fine. I pulled off Rayne's clothes and she instructed some servants to stock up my wardrobe with different new attires, and she also demanded to know who the maid that had given me Rayne’s clothes was and I just told her to let it be. I barely ate anything as I was not even hungry.

It was already evening and I decided to take a stroll. I did not leave through the main door as I was scared of running into my mother or Kael. Another episode of drama would resume and I did not want that, so I left my room through my window.

It was so easy to jump out and I landed swiftly on the ground. The moment I landed, I looked around the palace compounds. There was no one around and the guards were stationed at another side. There were streetlights on the estate road and I decided not to go through there, but the dark areas instead. I needed to know my way around.
