Edwin kept checking his cell phone, waiting for Ace's reply. He was not even concentrating on his work as he kept thinking about Ace all the time. When he heard the notification sound, he got excited to see the reply but after seeing it, his heart shrank.

Ace: Ed, so sorry. I am going out with Jacob. I will meet you later.

Edwin just stared at the message swallowing down his sadness. He badly wanted to meet Ace and share everything that he had been doing at the office with him but Ace seemed he was not at all interested in it. After a few hours of his work, he reached his home. His mind was clouded with many thoughts and his already overthinking state became more.

This is just so sad. I have slowly (rules and no money) been reading and truly enjoying your work and now my heart is breaking for both of them. Thank you for your time and effort writing this and I am hoping for a happy ending for these boys whom I have come to Love. Michael Bennett
