#JACK
Traveling to Abuja in a car is quiet tiring and now that we're going to trek all the way there.. It's going to be excruciating on our bodies.....
Luckily for me, This isn't my first time going to Abuja, I know many roads and shortcuts to take us there and I happen to know some settlements living along the way... The day our car crashed, Julia and I took a long trek down the road, It was tiring but I wasn't bothered by it but as for Julia, her case was different.. She would hiss and complain a lot... I paid her no attention cause I too was in the same mess as she is, The only way we can help each other is by moving forward.
By nightfall, We arrived at a small local town, We were able to find someone nice to allow us to rest in his house, of course we had to give me something in return. By the next morning, we left the town and continued on our journey.. It was hard and rough but it was better than being stranded on the road, By night fall, we spent the night in the wilderness, There was no house or shelter, we had to sleep on grasses and under the trees... Luckily for us, there was no mosquitoes and there was a nice lovely breeze, I would have had a wonderful sleep if Julia hadn't been overreacting.
.
Julia β‘ Jesus.... What's that noise??
.
Jack β‘ Lady.. Will you shut up? I'm trying to sleep.
.
Julia β‘ Sleep!? How can you sleep in this place?... What if there are snakes π or wild beasts?
.
Jack β‘ Look! You're overreacting... There are no snakes or beasts Here.. Let's just have faith in God and relax our nerves... God is with us.. If it's our time to die.. Then so be it.
.
Julia β‘ DIE??? I don't want to die... Not yet.. I've lots of things to do.
.
Jack β‘ Look! Shut up and sleep! I can't listen to you anymore besides.. What are you afraid of? You're not alone here.
.
Julia β‘ But..
.
Jack β‘ SHUT UP AND SLEEP! GOD!!!
.
After that, Julia kept quiet and slept soundly, It would have been better if I slept as well but I couldn't.. I tried to think of something that would make me doze off but I was still wide awake.. It wasn't until midnight that I finally fell asleep.
The next morning, We were awoken by the sound of cows mooing and making grunting sounds.. I sat up and discovered we were in the middle of hundreds of cows... Julia woke up and shouted in fright as one of the cows came close to her and began to lick her face, She jumped up quickly and moved away from the cow, In that moment, A Fulani man and his female companion came towards us to find out what was going on.
.
Yusuf β‘ Kai... What are you doing here?
.
Jack β‘ You speak English??
.
Yusuf β‘ Of course.. We're not just ordinary cow people... We've settled among civilized people.
.
Julia β‘ What's going on? Hey. Do you own these cows?
.
Yusuf β‘ Yes.. They're fine creatures aren't they?
.
Julia β‘ FINE?? One of them tried to eat me!!
.
Jack β‘ Don't mind her.. The cow just licked her face that's all.
.
Yusuf β‘ Sorry madam... These cows mean no harm.. So are you husband and wife?
.
Julia β‘ WHAT? NO...
.
Jack β‘ No.. We're not..
.
Yusuf β‘ Hmm, I thought you were... Because I've met couples like you several times.. Okay.. Let me introduce myself.. My name is Yusuf and this is my wife Salima.. We're newly weds.. We're heading to Abuja to start our life there.
.
Jack β‘ Really? Well.. We're heading to Abuja as well... Do you mind if we tag along?
.
Yusuf β‘ No problem.
.
Julia β‘ Thank God! Finally my legs will rest.
.
Yusuf β‘ Well, I hope you guy have strong legs cause we'll be trekking for quite a long time.
.
Julia β‘ What?? You can't be serious... What are these cows for? We should be riding them?
.
Yusuf β‘ Sorry but that will slow us down.. They move better and faster if they're not mounted.. If we're fast enough we might get to the next town before night fall.
.
Jack β‘ Let's go.. Don't mind her.
.
Julia β‘ You selfish b-stard.... How can you say that? Just because you're built like a gorilla doesn't mean everyone is the same as you... I'm a sophisticated woman, a CEO.. A titan of a company.. Not a hitch hiker.. I'm not used to this kind of suffering.. I can't go on like this.
.
Jack β‘ You see the reason why you never have an steady man in your life... You're so frustrating and annoying..
.
Julia β‘ Well excuse me... It's not my fault if they can't keep up with me.. Real men would tolerate any woman's problem.
.
Jack β‘ You spoilt rich feminine brat.. Look here... You see this fulani's wife.. She's also a woman... Do you see her complaining? You're not the only one stuck in this mess and if you'd shut your mouth and keep moving, we wouldn't be wasting our time... This is how life is.. Always expect the unexpected, life can't be always sweet and jolly all the time.. There are times when you must tighten your belt and keep moving forward no matter the difficulties that come your way and that time is now.. So for the last time.. Shut up and let's keep going or you can stay here alone in the middle of nowhere until God sends someone to save that is if you're not already dead by then.
.
Yusuf and his wife looked at us as we argued, After we were done, we began to trek to our destination... Julia was pissed but there's nothing she could do to... About an hour later, Julia who was behind us collapsed on the ground and started to cry, Yusuf and his wife were already ahead of us driving their cattle in a straight formation, I didn't want to pay attention to her but then I decided to see if something was wrong with her.
.
Jack β‘ Hey... Let's go.. Come on..
.
Julia β‘ (crying) ππππ
.
Jack β‘ Julia..
.
Julia β‘ I... can't... I'm tired... Oh God, why me? πππ
.
Jack β‘ Oya.. Stop messing around let's go.
.
Julia β‘ I swear, I can't go any further.. My legs hurt.. Please.. I can't..
..
I didn't want to believe her but then from the way she was crying, I felt sorry for her... Rich people, they surely can't handle the pressure of life once they get to experience it, I bet if all of them felt how hard life was, they'd pity poor people like myself and the others.
To make thing easier for her and for me, I decided to carry her up, I was surprised when I realized she wasn't that heavy at all, I could barely feel her weight... After I carried her, I quicken my pace and caught up with Yusuf and his wife.
.
#JULIA
I've experienced difficult times but none of them was as difficult as the situation I'm in right now. First, I was being hunted by assassins and now I have to trek all the way to Abuja, What kind of suffering is this?.
I hated every bit of the journey but there was nothing I could do but keep going, It's been two days since we were ambushed and attacked but it seems like I've spent 2 years in the wilderness..
Another annoying thing I hater about the journey was Jack, unlike me, Jack was used to this kind of rugged, suffering life but not me.. Instead of sympathizing with me since I was a woman, he didn't care about me, he made me follow him, I could hardly keep up with him, cause my legs hurt and I've never trek this far in my life before..
Life without technology sure sucks, our ancestors were sure brave and patience that they had to go through their lives without it.. There was no phone, no transport, no nothing... Luckily for us, when we stopped at the nearest town, We brought all many food and water as we could and we had to manage so that we wouldn't starve, The food wasn't that delicious but it was better than starving to death.
I thought our fortunes had changed when we met the Fulani man and his wife but it later turns out nothing had changed.. But at least we had some company along the way.
Later that afternoon as we were trekking, I collapsed on the floor unable to walk, I was tired, hungry, and my clothes were dirty, I haven't had a proper bath π and my body was aching all over... I didn't know when I started to cry, I felt miserable and I hated life that very moment.
There's nothing worst than suffering in this life and being alone.. No matter how rich and powerful you are, if you don't have loyal friends or happiness.. Life will be a living hell for you.. All this years I've spent my life, working hard thinking that socializing and hanging out with people was a waste of time.. I never realized I was digging a home for myself..
That afternoon I realized God could do and undo and I was at his mercy.. Of all the money and power I had, they couldn't help me at my worst moment.. Even if I was to die now, They won't help me, I'll be left on the road to rot, no friends and family to give me a proper burial.
As I was shedding tears of misfortune, Jack approached me, he was trying to make me get up and keeping walking but I told him I couldn't.. I was thinking he'd leave me and continue walking but then he picked me up and carried me in his arms... I was surprised really.. I wasn't expecting him to do that but anyways I was grateful.
Later that day in the evening, we arrived at a small river, it was clean and the view was beautiful, and the best part was the place was covered with trees and grass, The air there was so lovely and refreshing, Yusuf and his wife decided that we should settle there and rest for the night,... After he had adjusted the cows to stay in one place, He and his wife decided to take a dip into the river, We had to excuse them and give them privacy.
As soon as Jack and I were alone, I decided to thank him, But before I could do that, Jack began to strip as well, he didn't removed all his clothes, he only removed his top so that the fresh air could surge through his body... I was turned on when I saw his masculine build, his bust was so manly not to mention of his muscles and chiseled packs on his abdomen.... Oh God! I couldn't help but stare at his body admirably.. I could remember how I shivered under his manly frame, as he f-cked me hard at night, I swallowed hard, clasping my legs together, my c-nt was getting itchy and my bre-sts were starting to leak out milk.
.
Jack β‘ Are you alright?
.
Julia β‘ (stammering) Huh!? Y-y-y-yes.. I-I-I'm fine...
.
Jack β‘ You don't look fine to me.. Here let me make you feel better.
.
Jack knelt down in front of me and grabbed hold of my foot, he removed my shoes and began to massage my feet... God! I didn't know when I let out a moan, Jack's touch always drives me crazy,.. He continued massaging my feet and he was doing it excellently well. After he was done with my feet, he went behind me and massaged my shoulders and neck... God! I've felt been so turned on like this in my life..
.
Julia β‘ (moans) Ahhh... Ohh.. Yes..
.
Jack β‘ Are you feeling better?
.
Julia β‘ Huh?.. Oh.. I.. Ahhh... So good.
.
Jack β‘ I take that as a yes..
.
Julia β‘ I never knew you could do massages.. Where did you learn to do that?
.
Jack β‘ I used to do it for my mom back in the day, whenever she came back from the market.. I do massages for her.
.
Julia β‘ You'd make a very good massager..
.
Jack β‘ Thank you..
.
Julia β‘ Uhm... Thank you for what you did to me earlier today.. I really appreciate it.
.
Jack β‘ You're welcome..
.
Julia β‘ You know... I also apologize for being harsh towards you since we started this journey.. I take back everything I said about you.. And you're right about everything you said..
.
Jack stopped massaging me and kept quiet for a while, after a while, he spoke up also making an apology.
.
Jack β‘ I'm also sorry for how things ended between us.. I shouldn't have f-cked your maid..
.
I laughed when I heard him say that, It was the way he said it that made me laugh, Jack too joined in the laughter which didn't last long..
.
Julia β‘ So.. When are we going to arrive in Abuja? Cause I'm really tired..
.
Jack β‘ Well, by tomorrow God grace we will arrive there by noon.
.
Julia β‘ Thank God!... By tomorrow.. I'll be back in comfort.
.
Jack β‘ Yeah. By tomorrow, once I collect my money.. I'll be on a transport back to Lagos.
.
Julia β‘ What? Aren't you going to stay?
.
Jack β‘ Stay? No.. My mother's alone at home.. I'll have to return to her.
.
It was sweet to see a man who cares alot about his mother... I bet whoever his mother is, I bet she's a good mother..
.
Julia β‘ It's nice to see that you care about your mother but if you don't mind.. Can I ask you of favour?
.
Jack β‘ What is it?
.
Julia β‘ Well, I was thinking maybe if you'd agree to stay with me until I open the new branch.. We'd take a flight back to Lagos..
.
Jack β‘ Why me?
.
Julia β‘ Well, thanks to you, I'm alive and I'm not sure that I'm safe.. I'd like you to stay with me to make sure that nothing happens.. If you want I could pay you. So what do you say?
.
Jack kept quiet for a moment and then agreed to stay with me in Abuja, In that moment, Yusuf and his wife approached us, with smiles on their faces, they were wet from head to toe.. They must have enjoyed their swim.
.
Yusuf β‘ Kai! That water is so good.. You two should go in and try.. You'll feel much better.
.
Julia β‘ I don't know.. Is the water clean?
.
Yusuf β‘ Oh.. You don't have to worry.. The water is clean, no trash, no worms, no fish or frogs.. I've been bathing here for years... If it was contaminated I wouldn't be here.
.
Jack β‘ Come.. Let's try it.. Besides we look filthy, we need to clean our bodies.
.
Julia β‘ Alright then.. But we have to keep a distance... And no peeking.
.
Jack β‘ Don't worry I won't.
