LOGINCHAPTER THREE
FINN I struggled to get away from the Alpha, but his body pinned mine down, restricting my movement. “Hold still, this would be over before you even know it” He panted out above me, his hand slipping between my legs. Suddenly, his weight pressing against me was gone. A loud thud drew my attention to where the Alpha now laid crumpled. What…How…? My mind was whirling with questions when a large figure came to stand in front of me. My breath caught in my lungs at the sight before me; the wolf before me was huge. It had an eye patch covering one eye. Through the pain I recognized the wolf before me. It was one said to be a folktale; used to warn pups to behave. The mad king. The wolf stepped closer to me, its paws resting by each side of my head as it lowered its head. I squeezed my eyes shut, prepared for the worst. “Alpha!” I heard someone growl out. The rest of the Alphas chasing after me spilled into the clearing I laid down in. The huge wolf stepped over me; his under belly vibrating with a growl. I shivered underneath the wolf, my skin growing hotter than ever as my vision doubled briefly. For some reason, the need to rub my naked skin against his fur burned within me. The wolf glanced down at me, his nose flaring as the pupil of his eyes dilated. “We found him first! He is ours to keep” I heard an Alpha growl out impatiently. With way the mad king stood above me; his growls getting worse by the second, it seemed like he wanted to…keep me? An intense pain ridded me of my thinking ability at that moment, a whimper falling out of my lips as I curled up on myself. By the time the cramping feeling that had me squeezing my eyes relieved me, the Alpha's already shifted into their wolf form. My eyes swung to the wolf standing in front of me now, my bones shaking with pure terror. I couldn't say what the wolf would do to me even if he manages to chase the other Alphas away. He could…I shook the thought away, trying to crawl away from the clearing. I couldn't let that happen to me, I must not let it happen. The moment I moved an inch from where I was previous, the attention of the wolf drew to me, making me freeze. I swallowed hard, his attention on me triggering slick out of my already sensitive hole. One of the Alphas lunged at the mad king, its paws glinting wickedly in the dim light that penetrated the branches above us. I looked away, my stomach recoiling at seeing blood. I let out a whimper involuntary as I covered my ears with my hands. What was I doing?! I am meant to get away! Not wait around for the aftermath of the fight. Without glancing behind me, I continued to crawl away. Each drag of my body against the rough terrain of the forest had me shivering in pain and a twisted pleasure in equal measure. “Boys! Get him!” I heard someone call out. No, no, no. I was so close to getting away. I put more effort into my crawling; the thought of having several, unfamiliar hands on me had me biting down on my bottom lip in terror. I should have listened to my gut feeling and stayed back in town, maybe this wouldn’t be happening now. I wished Oliver would appear out of nowhere and take me away from here. I know I should call out his name right now, he would surely be looking for me with how long I was gone. But fear had my throat fused together, just breathing was taking a lot from my already weak body. “I got you little one” I heard behind as I felt a hand clamp down on my ankle. “Let me go” I let out hoarsely, hitting him in the face with my free leg. “Son of a bitch !” He cursed out, releasing my leg. I managed to stand, making my way deeper into the forest with blurred vision and a wound that ached fiercely. The wound should have been healed by now but due to my heat, my healing ability is slowed down. “I would teach you a lesson when I lay my hands on you, Omega!” The Alpha I had hit roared out. Panicking I stumbled into a small cave made out of dead tree branches, rubbing myself with the moist earth frantically. This should throw them off my track. I curled up on myself in the cave, sniffling back the tears that threatened to drip down my cheeks. If I got out of this situation, I would never go near a forest again. “Where are you, Tiny one?” I heard another Alpha call out close to where I hid, my body growing tense. I placed my head between my legs, trying not to draw attention to where I hid as I breath through the panic that wanted to consume me. I felt something creak on top of the cave, my heart pounding harder against my chest as blood rushed through my ears. I heard the branches been moved away; they were going to find me any moment from now! I dashed out of the cave only to run into a broad chest. “I told you he was in there” The Alpha before me laughed, a trickle of dried blood tracking into his nose. He was the one I had hit earlier, the one who promised pain. I shifted backward, my movement stopping as I hit another warm body. The Alpha behind me placed his hand on my chest, squeezing slight. “Look at that, these would grow nicely when we put our pups in you” I shivered with disgust at his statement, my hand moving before I could stop it as I tried railing my elbow into his chest. A loud growl from behind the Alpha had me stopping. I turned slightly to see the mad King was here. His snout had blood around it as he snarled at the wolves that stood close to me. “H-he is ours! You don’t get to-’’ The Alpha before me was saying when the mad king swiped at him with a huge paw. He landed against a tree with a sickening thud. I knew without looking towards him he was likely dead. The one behind me tried to run, pushing me to the ground in his haste. The wolf lunged at him, the sound of a claw cutting through soft skin followed by the Alpha’s cry had me wincing, my body shuddering with fear. Was I next? I questioned as I felt a cold snout sniff at my neck.CHAPTER FORTY-ONEFINNI lapped at my dried lips, my wrists and ankles hurting from been tied up.Who would have thought Oliver wanted...a shudder ran through me as I remembered all the things he had said.My vision grew blurry, tears of frustrations welling up.How had I missed it?The look in his eyes was...craze-filled. I had to get out of his room. He had stepped out after his declaration, not before he had touched my cheek. It had felt revolting, my insides tightening with disgust.I shook away the memory, my focus returning to the knife that was on the table few steps away from me.I scooted closer to the table, my body singing with pain but I ignored it.No one was going to hear if I screamed for help; Oliver had an entire wing of the pack house to himself.Apart from that, it would simply alert him to the fact that I was trying to escape.I managed to get on my knees after fumbling with balance a few times. My hands and feet were starting to go numb from the loss of blood cir
CHAPTER FORTYXAVIERI jerked upright in my bed, sweat sticking to my skin heavily.Something was wrong. "Alpha Xavier!" A masculine voice called out. It was the healer the male healer who had been injured in Finn's room. What was he doing here?"Why are you in my chamber?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at him in suspicion."I am the only available healer in the pack as of now" he replied, setting the bowl of water he had in his grasp onto the table in the middle of my room. What about Yelsa? It has been quite a while I had seen the woman."I heard Finn is missing" the man stated, drawing a low growl from me."I would find him no matter what" I yanked off the covering from my legs, standing to my feet."Get out, I need to get prepared" I stalked towards the bathroom."I am not suppose to tell you this, you don't deserve him" I turned, my brows snapped together."What are you talking about?" My voice dropped low.He had the good sense to take a few steps away from me."You kept him here
CHAPTER THIRTY-NINEFINNA deep rumbling voice mumbled something close to where I stood. My breathing seized as I paused, my back flat against the door.I should have known it wouldn't be this easy moving around the pack house.A memory of a dreamless night spent in the cellar came flashing across my mind. That would be what would happen if I got caught. But I couldn't afford to turn back now. Not with what was at stake."Aren't you a good boy?" A familiar voice had my ears perking up.Was that Alpha Haven?I creeped closer to where the sound had come from.A quick peek showed it was indeed Alpha Haven, rubbing the ball of fur he held within his arms.He had a pet?I thought animals were scared of wolves? The Alpha threw his head back in laughter as the dog licked at his face.He looked so different from the man who had almost choked me to death. How could someone like him play with dog like this after making his brother's life hell? His laughter tapered off as he dropped the dog, his
CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHTFINN"Why do you want go back there?" Oliver asked, his tone devoid of emotion.A chill ran through me at his tone."You are safe here" Oliver added, a strange glint in his eyes."For one, my mate is there" I retorted, confused as to how different he is now.The Oliver I knew didn't have a look like this."Your mate?! You don't even know this person properly!" He exploded, eyes narrowing."That's my problem, not yours" I responded."I can't help you; I wouldn't betray my brother" he said to me, face carefully blank as he stepped away from me."But you said you would do anything!" I demanded, my heart thudding hard against my chest at the consequences of him not helping me."I said so, but not with this" Oliver turned to leave. What was I going to do now?Would I be forever trapped in this pack?"You were never truly sorry, were you?" I threw at his back.He stopped briefly, throwing a look over his shoulder before he continued to walk away.My breathing sped up, t
CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVENFINNI peered out the window of the library, a dejected sigh escaped from my lips. There was no way I would survive a jump this high.It was practically a death jump. But even if I did, I had no idea where I was—oh, I was in the Black Fang Pack.I heard Yelsa mention it when she had accosted me while I was fleeing from Oliver. The fact that I had never heard of this pack before now was only a piece of the problem.I didn't know my way around here and I could easily fall into the hands of rogue wolves again. That was an experience I never wanted to go through again. What can I do?What can I do?!Each moment I spent like this, was one where Xavier's pack could be attacked and wiped out.I had no idea what timeline Alpha Haven had fixed for attacking the Red Claw Pack.Which meant it could be anytime!Think, Finn.Think!I paused mid step as an idea sprung to my head."Oliver" I whispered. He knew his way around here, definitely he would be able to navigate his way
CHAPTER THIRTY-SIXFINNLike a screen play, memories I shared with Oliver came to play in the forefront of my mind. From the moment we had met, to the time Momo, our pet cat, had died. The moment I decided baking what was I wanted to do.When Oliver had decided to be a freelancer metal forger. Each one played, intertwined with each other. To think those moments were fake, they had been carefully planned all for what?I would have gladly followed Oliver here anyway.Oliver said something, his lips moving frantically as he shook his head, panic evident in his face.I walked past him, needing to walk away."Where are you going to, Finn? You have no idea—" I ripped my forearm away from his grasp, cutting him off.Wordlessly, I trudged away from both of them. The man who I had considered my best friend was nothing but a spy.Keeping tabs on me for so long. I felt like screaming, but I couldn't.I felt like hitting something, but I wouldn't.My body felt loaded with several emotions maki
CHAPTER SIXFINNMy eyes felt like weights as I opened them, my gaze cutting towards the chair almost instinctively. My breath hitched in my chest, my heat raging through me like an inferno. The Alpha gazed at me with intensity from across the room, his visible eye glinting with something feral.Sa
CHAPTER ELEVEN FINNI heard the murmuring of the Alphas from where I stood, the hair on my body standing erect.“I heard Alpa Xavier has found his mate, is it true?” I heard someone asked, his voice gruff.“It is true, it is a male omega” The other person replied him, his tone filled with obvious
CHAPTER FIFTEENFINN“What is wrong with him?!”“He is burn up!”Several voices echoed around me at the same time. I tried to stand up and tell them who had caused my current state but couldn’t.I tried to move but all my muscles feel like they were resisting any movement. The darkness behind my li
CHAPTER 7 OLIVER “Finn!” I called out in the dense woods, my feet tripping over a gnarled root. This was my fault; I shouldn’t have brought him out here. What if he had been bitten by a poisonous snake? Or he had been taken away against his will? My thoughts pushed my feet faster, branches w
