POV Aiden

Paula was still groggy from sedation but we hoped she could help us figure out what was going on between her and her wolf.

Miss Evens and I sat in chairs next to her trying not to scare her anymore that she was. “Paula, can you hear me?” I asked.

“Where am I?” She asked.

“We moved you to the clinic and sedated your wolf. There’s some concern that Gavin’s death has effected her.” I told her.

“Who is this Gavin you keep mentioning is dead. I don’t know anyone by that name.” She replied.

Miss Evens and I looked at each other. My concern growing about her mental state.

“How about we try this a different way.” Miss Evens said. “Why don’t you tell us about yourself and we will see if we can piece together what’s going on from there.”

“Ok.” She said calming down a little. “My name is Paula Lawrence. I’m a member of the Black Moon pack.”

Miss Evens and I looked at each other with raised eyebrows.
