Chapter 51 Samuel “Which members?” I growled out. Lucy’s story had everyone in the room ready to declare war. No woman should have ever been subjected to the truthfulness that she had been. Let alone a mother to be forced to part with her child before the child is even a day old. I wanted justice for Lucy and every other woman and child forced to endure the hell that they had. “Elder Mathew and his son, Elder Phillip, and Elder Marshall. They have always felt.. I do not know Alpha. Off?” Ronnie said. I could tell Ronnie was in control right now and I was kind of grateful as hearing his mates confession would inevitably stir the bloodlust like none other. “Ronnie, you have control of everything?” I asked him. “Yes, Alpha” he replied, still holding tightly to Lucy. “Is he okay?” I asked. I was worried about Roman. He had the tendency to beat himself up. Not only to self internalize but to allow the anger at himself to bubble up and present i
Chapter 52 Levi It took several minutes of me holding Roman before I felt his breath even out. Once everyone felt the anger in the room dissipate Samuel spoke up. “So, what was the purpose that you ran out of here like you were about to shit your pants? You do know you choose a completely horrible time to react like that.” Samuel said, still sneaking peeks at Roman who had finally sat down as Lucy, still cowardly hiding behind Gabi. “Luce, Luce? Baby are you okay?” I questioned still not wanting to wander too far from Roman as he was still in a panic state. “Y..Y..Yes. mmmmm… Im o.. okay.” Lucy stuttered out in her shy and low voice. “Do not lie” Roman growled at her still having anger raging inside of him. Squaring her shoulders Lucy steps from behind Gabi walked up to where I was standing and Roman was sitting and glared at him. “I wasn’t lying you roid raging, homicidal, Maniac. I am fine. I was scared and felt many emotions all at o
Chapter 53 GabiSo the Blood Moon pack had a complete reason for telling Dad to reject his mate. Mom was a rogue and a woman. The Alpha wanted my father to reject her so that he could turn her into a “breeder”. “Well, when I was down there most of the female babies were either killed if they had any deficiencies or “had the looks” the others were placed in orphanages. He could be taking the refused babies and using them to perform experiments. I also heard that not all of the girls that were down there were breeders. Some were whores. Yet some would become pregnant. They weren’t allowed to keep their babies either.” Lucy said in her soft voice. “So we are in total agreement that we need to shut these damn cells down immediately?” I asked all that were present. We still had many that were not present but we would have a meeting tomorrow when Uncle Adrik arrives with many of his faction. We had just finished the other complex the other day. I was exc
Chapter 54 AlecWhen my brother had called me to the conference room I was surprised at what I had witnessed. I had yet to be privy to the combined meeting. Most of the time that the meetings occurred I was hosting classes or caring for my son. So stepping into this fierce dynamic was interesting to say the least. While Levi handled his mate I sat back by the door and watched everyone and interacted. Then Levi turned to me. “Do you remember hearing a story about the lycan Alpha trying to find a cure. While attempting to find a cure for his disgrace, he stumbled on the perfect formula to create the ultimate weapon.” He had asked me. It was no secret that I was a scholar. Both Levi and I had taken to the books rather than the bag. We could still fight, there was no question about that but we were more known for our undeniable wealth of knowledge. So when he brought up the feebles of King Lycaon of Arcadia I was confused. “Vaguely. Wait, is it the story of King Lycao
Chapter 55 AlecWalking into the conference room I am lasted with the smell of campfire burning leafs and sage. Standing at the front of the room was a beautiful woman with ebony skin. Her tall body stood strong and confident at the front of the room beside a larger than life beast. I could tell by looking at him and the similarities in our features that this man was my Uncle, Adrik. Yet, she stood tall beside him like she was his in some way or another. Before I even had the time to gather my wolf up and suppress him he had me rushing to her side and ripping her away from my uncle and laying down a vicious growl to defend my claim.“MINE!!!” I growled out at my uncle, causing him to chuckle.“Savenia, I do believe that my nephew here just claimed you as his. Maybe you want to inform him that we are not an item. That we are only associates.” He said looking past me to my mate. Turning around I looked into the most amazing eyes of a yellow, green hazel mixed. Her fac
Chapter 56 Savenia Waking up in my new apartment, I looked around and recentered myself. The night before I had struggled with sleep like I have for a long time now. Every night I relive my childhood. Every comment ever made towards me. Every hit, smack, kick, push, shove, jab, punch. Every night I experience some part of the horrors I had lived through. Some nights the nightmares were worse as instead of me leaving, I was forced to stay. Most of those nightmares would end with someone killing me in the most gruesome way possible. Last night the stress of the move, the stress of the change and being in charge of the faction had led to a new form of nightmares. Last night it was my father that had found me on the streets that night. Instead of me being able to defend myself against the gang rape, I was tied down and my magic was surpressed. My father was instructing the members of the Faction on ways to rape and torture me. My mother too was present and laughing
Chapter 57 Savenia After grabbing a quick black coffee, I made my way listening to the chatter in the halls to find my way up the stairs to the large conference room. Standing at the front of the room was Adrik, waiting for the rest of the members to come in. I walked up beside him not yet sure of the seating arrangements here. Yet it appeared that there was no method to how or where everyone sat. “So, what is it that we are waiting on exactly?” Adrik leaned over to whisper to me. “The rest of the council, or advisory team? I don’t know exactly what we should really call ourselves.” Gabi replied. “See you have me supposedly the closest descendant to the mother Goddess and so kind of queen royal. There is, my lovely mate here, Sam. He is the next Alpha of the Blue Rose pack.” She said, placing her hand on her mate's chest lovingly. “Then there is my family. We are all trained hand to hand and have superior fighting skills. My father is the owner of t
Chapter 58 Savenia I began to start smiling at the amazing smell. I loved the smell. Whenever I had the chance or opportunity I would go to a library, bookstore or sometimes even just a second hand store to smell the books or to see what new used and old books that they had. I had always wanted to create my own library but with the constant moving of the faction I didn’t have the ability to tote around boxes or bags of books. Nor did I quite have the time. I was always watching several children. When the parents were sent off to complete an investigation or mission they would leave any children with the faction. That part would fall on those that ran the schools or daycare. We were the primary secondary caregivers, there were others that would provide care for the children even if the parents were not available. So when the smell of old and used books entered the room I was almost too scared to look up from the table where I had been starting to look towar
