“You won’t be needed, Luther.” Christian mumbles.
I grit my teeth.
“Look,” He sighs. “You don’t need to repeat yourself over and over. It’s not the first time I’ve been left in charge. Nothing will happen to the pack, I promise.”
Christian is right; I know he is.
I’ve left the man in charge plenty of times over the past two years. He’s always done great, and I know he’ll be just as good this time.
I guess I’m just nervous about seeing Lorcan, and I don’t know why. I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach that something is wrong.
