Chapter 5: In Another Life

“The big bad wolf stood in front of the third little pig’s house. He tried to hit and blow it down, but he simply couldn’t do it as the house was made of bricks, indestructible and couldn’t be blown down. Furious of his fail, he sought for another way and saw the chimney. He climbed his way up to the roof and slipped down the chimney, only to fall right into the fireplace and burn his whole tail. He hurriedly ran out of the house and never dared to bully the three little pigs again.”

Reading the story, twenty-year-old Luke, made sure his words were clear and loud enough to be heard. His lowered his tone eventually at the end of the story, trying to lure his listener to sleep.

However, he could not tame the energy of the five-year-old kid.

Luke had spent an hour and half reading twenty stories in the storybook, with “The Three Little Pigs” as the last one, leaving his mouth dry and drowsy after so much talking.
