Chapter Forty-Nine - A rejection at the Castle -

Loclyn POV

I woke up in the spring pool, with my father Derrick holding my head so I didn’t drown. I looked around at everyone. I see my mother Margaret and King Aaron, Alpha Kenneth and Luna Jillian. I see some new people I don’t know but one of them stands out, he is standing at the back of everyone, near the shadows of the trees. To me he seems odd and looks angry but I didn’t have time to think about that, I saw Daydra walking up dragging something behind her, sobbing.

I look at my father and give him a smile, he nods at me and we stand up and get out of the spring. I walk towards Daydra who is now crying uncontrollably into my mothers arms and just when I see her knees go weak I lurch forward and catch her.

Daydra seemed relieved but had this look of confusion on her face to like I am not the Loclyn she knows. It didn’t bother me too much, what did was when she looked away,she looked at the person standing in the background looking angry and hurt. He left so quickly it had my mi
